TX or NY or both?

I ordered a couple packs of the Sapphires to try out.....

I'm in TX and figured since I had to pay tax, the item would ship from TX(the address on their site is approx. 10 miles from my house) ... apparently it's shipping from NY.

So, I guess my main question/s is:
Do NY residents have to pay tax also?
and
Is everything shipped from NY? only some items shipped from NY? and only the site/server is located in TX?


I'm not mad or anything like that(the added transit time was a bummer when I saw the "tracking info." , but, it's all good) ... just wanted to know.

yes most items are shipped form new york and a few from texas and yes texas pays tax for some reason everywhere.

I don't fully understand the "yes texas pays tax for some reason everywhere" part.... I don't really need an explanation, and bottom line is TX residents have to pay sales tax and most products ship from NY. (which is cool, now that I know... I'll plan ahead)


How bout stocking up the "TX side" for TX customers that get taxed and still have to wait for the mail coming all the way from NY? or a free upgrade to Priority? (I'm not "serious serious" lol... but, that would be cool)

I'm suggesting things but in no way to piss you/anybody off.... I don't run my own biz either, so, it's all coming outta my ___.


Either way thanks for the response, and I'll keep this info. in mind and plan my next order accordingly.(order before I'm out, I'm cutting it close this time)

its not possible at the moment and feel your pain but shipping form new york serves the world faster then shipping form anywhere else when it comes to serving the people all over the world, we have to look out for everyone and not just a select few and trust me I know it sucks about this tax thing, not right at all. I have to pay tarrif's and taxes up the ying yang as well and i understand its not fun but that cant be avoided on our end at the moment.

Maybe why people in Texas are paying sales tax is because GotVapes business license etc was registered in Texas. The only time I have gotten charged for sales tax is when the company I ordered something from is based or has a sales location in Ca where I live. Since Dan lives in Texas and Chris in NY it makes sense why both NY and Texas residents get charged sales tax.

The Reds... the Reds... Didn't they have a guy named Pete Rose? Yeah, yeah, he helped win a World Series. IN PHILADELPHIA!

I (shamefully) let Baseball pass me by when I left Philly many years ago. But I never miss an Eagles game, and follow them all year round. But, man, the Phils are a Super Team right now! 77 wins is a nice number this time of year.
