I accidentally washed my favorite pink manual diamond ( in my Maytag!) found it before it went in the dryer, light was on and I was sure it was toast. It dried out, light went out, put it on the charger and.......
it works!! Could this be a new advertising edge for v4l?

Reminds me of the time I dropped a Motorola Razr in the toilet. No, I wasn't talking on the phone in there..... it fell out of my back jeans pocket as I stood up and flushed. I finally found it 45 minutes later after fully retracing my "steps". I dried it out for 2 days (and of course sanitized it) and it worked.

Still working at this point..... Wouldn't be surprised if it has a shorter lifespan In the long run than the rest of my batteries but for now, its good.
