Didn't the Fogger V5 try something similar?

oh, just saw some reviews on the fogger,
the main problem with such a design is the inability to hold the coils properly
hopefully ud is able to get this right and end the era of screw posts!

Yeah after seeing that, it is kinda like the fogger v5. The cams just hold a spring loaded inner pin in the open position until released. I give 'em credit for trying new ideas, but I can see lots of "my resistance keeps jumping around" threads coming.

So, I can assume that the Fogger V5 suffers from ohm jumping?
