oh, just saw some reviews on the fogger,
the main problem with such a design is the inability to hold the coils properly
hopefully ud is able to get this right and end the era of screw posts!

Not quite the same as fogger, which use a spring loaded push-pin post. The elliptical pieces at the top of the posts are cams that lock down on the inner post pin. I bet the cam lobes and the top of the inner pin wear down after so many open/close cycles.

Yeah after seeing that, it is kinda like the fogger v5. The cams just hold a spring loaded inner pin in the open position until released. I give 'em credit for trying new ideas, but I can see lots of "my resistance keeps jumping around" threads coming.

So, I can assume that the Fogger V5 suffers from ohm jumping?

Yeah, the springs weaken with heat and use, then their tension isnt so great. Fortunately for the fogger, the spring-loaded section unscrews and it comes with extra hardware to allow it to be used as a normal captive screw post setup.

that chimney looks rather long...wonder if it hinders the flavor, also wonder how long those levers are going to last...

regardless if its less than $35 shipped I'm probably going to test one out.
