Thanks everyone.

I'm almost there, I think. It's exciting! (If not a little confusing.)

I'm going to go for the Vivi Nova STV & the eGo-C Twist VV 1000mah. Do let me know if there's anything else I'll need to get started!

As long as the battery comes with a charger, you'll be fine. If not, the vendor lists them on this page (bottom of page) but they appear to be out-of-stock. The wall usb/adaptor (to the right of the charger) might be useful if you need to charge the battery when away from a computer. Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

How many batteries were you planning on getting. It's best to have 2 at minimum. You need something to vape while the one battery is charging, and you always need a spare. These do stop working sometimes.

The vivi nova tank is great and so is the ego twist, however, you might want to know that your set up is going to be top heavy and look a bit odd. The viva nova has a significantly larger diameter than does the twist. You can get a mini nova but it'll still be a bit wider than the battery. It probably won't stand up too easily on it's own is why I mention it.

Badidtude, you have some very good links and info. Thanks for your contributions.

Thank you kindly for the links.

I'm in the UK but the lingo seems the same as I can pick up these items online over here & I know some juice vendors over here that do sample packs.

My main bone of contention however is understanding what these parts are, how they work together and what they do. I'm yet to find a good resource to get my head around this properly. There's a lot of 'jargon' that I'm trying to get past.

Here is a great place to start to learn the lingo
A - Z E-Cig Glossary | Guide To Vaping

I'm a noob too and found it very helpful.
