My experience with them is they all make a high pitched buzzing sound due to the frequency they run at. The industrial ones at the higher frequencies and have more transducers the sound is more pronounced.

The industrial ones for medical and dental. If I put my hand in it while its running it wreaks havoc on the air trapped inside my finger joints. It will either pop the knuckle or feel very uncomfortable. You pull your hand out fast.

I use a jewelry cleaner that I already owned (it was about $50). Yep it buzzes (sound like an electric toothbrush) but it doesn't bother me. When it stops that's how I know the cycle is over.
I think it works relatively OK to clean my gear. I can actually see it removing the colored liquid residue from inside the tanks. A real Ultrasonic cleaner works better, I'm sure, but considering I already owned this, I'm pleased.

The only thing that sucks is that the cycle only lasts 3 minutes. I typically hit it a few times to get everything really clean.

Oh wait, to my surprise, I just looked it up and it's appears to be a real ultrasonic cleaner. lol, and damnit it.... only $22 now. There's different cycles? Seems I need to learn how to use this thing better!

This is mine

Sounds like your using it correctly. What more do you need?

That's the exact same as my Harbor Freight Chicago Electric model only $8 cheaper.
Mine's been handling major abuse for over 3 months so I might get another for backup.
Read the reviews, there's only one 3 minute cycle.

Get some glass bottles for your juice and do it up :)
