Ultralast 3.2v batteries?

I sent an email to Provape concerning batteries. Their reply was that if you use a battery in your Provari that is NOT recomended by them and the device fails due to a battery problem it will not be covered under warranty. Only the batteries that are listed on their website are approved, and covered.

They don't recomend any batteries other than AW brand IMR's. Look close at the website and you'll see what we're talking about. Or you can always do like I did and shoot them an email. I was very impressed with the response time from them. About 1.5 - 2 hours and I had my reply. Now that's GREAT customer service. IMHO

18500 is just the sizing of the battery. IIRC 14900 is what most people call a AAA.

What I was getting at, is the Provari essentially requires 3.7v and a good amount of current behind it to function properly. Most batteries like you've linked to have protection that'll restrict their capabilities.

They say to use IMR as its made with stable chemicals, that are more resistant to heat and what not inherently, not requiring circuity for the protection.

At least this is what I've gleaned from my reading earlier.
