On the state sight it lists the allegation made with the state and whether investigation found it to be true or not. I was shocked what was being found true in some schools. There was a school that was actually found to have lost multiple students. They were letting students leave with other kid's parents and not having them signed out.
My mind was blown. These were the places with waiting lists. The school I signed her in to had no violations and a perfect sanitation record. Yet, no lists. Things were different for me. I was looking for full time daycare while I went back to work. So, I was opening myself up to more potential for issues.

It does. It's a major plus living in small towns where everyone knows everyone. I also plan on trying to help with field trips and parties etc so I will get a chance to see things in action.
And full time daycare is scary stuff, you just never know who you're dealing with. That and the cost of it are the two main reasons we decided I should stay home. It sucks living on one income, but I know it's me being mean to them not someone else
