I do too but....my house is OPEN for all to see. Lots of big windows and a fricken golf course cart path/Tbox in right my back yard with zero trees. I honestly HATE my lot and wish we never picked it. No privacy, weird neighbor w/barking mutt and drunk guys hitting our house all the time w/golf balls.
I had to replace one window so far and my gutters looks like someone pounded on it with a hammer. I've found golf balls in my FRONT yard too. If I layout on my lower deck, I can literally hear full conversations and can read logos on tshirts. That's how close we are to the course.And I'm not allowed to plant trees to buffer out noise/people in my back yard.
Why can't you plant trees on your property?
I have alot of windows too. Neighbors are far away and the back deck overlooks the forest. I can lay out there any how I want. No logos!!
I don't mind laundry at all. I like it when its all done and clean and folded. Now dishes? I despise doing dishes. I use paper as much as possible!
Figured I'd share... I have a full tank with me at work today. The coil is bad/burnt apparently. Holy crap does that taste bad. I tried vaping it as long as I could but started gagging & choking. Had it in my desk drawer....even the smell of it sitting in there was making me sick so I had to put it out in my truck. Unfortunately I don't think I'll ever be able to vape Tribeca again. I feel like I've been inhaling burning plastic....

Right, one brother is unemployed and living at home still, one brother is in college, and I have barely enough to buy groceries some weeks. I got lucky in the neighbor department. Wonderful neighbors who are far enough away to mind their own business but don't care what I do ... but be here in an instant if I need them. I'm in rural old Florida where houses aren't that close together though. I want a condo or villa a this point in my life and I'm working on that. I have WAY too much property to care for and no interest whatsoever in doing so.
The HOA rules...you can not block another neighbors view of the golf course. Our stupid house sticks out more towards the back and both sides of us are more towards the street (they have more back yard, we have less) so if we plant anything, both of their views would be blocked.
I want to move so bad but the real estate market hasn't come back enough and we'd take a dive on it cuz we just redid our basement a year ago. I should post a pic of how close we are to the stupid Tbox.
Well that sucks! I keep fresh coils with me all the time for that very reason. They are just too cheap to rebuild for me. I'm not fascinated with rebuilding those boogers as inexpensive as they are. Hope you have something else with ya! If not, hit the convenience store for a Blu. NO STINKIES!!!!!
Ok, you hit everything on my dream list. Florida, condo and that's about the extent of my dream list. On the beach would be AMAZEBALLS too. Then I don't need a condo, just a tent.
Most people who can afford condos on the beach don't actually live here! They vaca from up north and rent it out otherwise for BIG $$$. "On the beach living" is for vagrants or is way past the budget of the working class, unless you want to be house poor and I don't. I can be on the Atlantic or the Gulf within 90 minutes and the drive to and from is Florida at it's finest. Then, I don't pay higher prices for EVERYTHING near the beach to live. People get so hung up on the destination that they forget to enjoy the journey. I'm a journey kinda gal. DAMN that coffee was strong!

I can tell you one of the best, most beautiful places in the world to affordably camp in Florida is Bahia Honda State Park in the Florida Keys. One of my favorite places in this world. My sister lives in The Keys and I go there to hang out and fly kites several times a year.

Your mom and mine should hang out. Last Christmas mine asked for a $500 bicycle. "Oh you and your brother can go in together on it." Sorry, I have a kid and her gifts come first.
We had a blow out yesterday. Now she is playing the victim and basically saying she is pulling out of our lives until I decide to grow up and incorporate her in our lives. What? I am the only one making an attempt any way and if she can pull out of my kid's life over an argument with me, she doesn't need to be in her life either.
"I don't want to have to be scheduled in to your life. This isn't a doctor's appointment." Really? When I had a set time for her to come watch the kid every week she was always late or had an excuse not to make it. When she lived six miles away she only came by once or twice a month, and I had to call and invite her. Even then when she did show up she would try to correct me on how I was raising my child. . . in front of my child.
Yesterday she crossed me up in front of a group of people. I let her hold it. I wasn't going to but she was being disparaging about my in-laws (great people) in front of my wife and others. That was the straw that broke the camel's back in half. You can play the victim card and get away with so much. You can disrespect me, to an extent. You start attacking people I love and hurting my wife and all bets are off. I was harsh but respectful. She wouldn't stop. I laid it all out there. Now she is running telling people how I disrespected her for no reason.
