I truly HATE those fake pictures - it's obvious and it makes the company seem like they are trying to pull a fast one to the average consumer. It seriously makes a company look like they have to manufacture people enjoying their product. Not professional at all.

I actually cringed every time I went to the old site and saw that Testimonial thing in the lower left corner. Gimme a break, no one sends stock photos to a company in a testimonial and the attempt to cover every race/creed/age seems contrived.

Don't get it twisted, I love you Bloog. You are such a pretty thing, you don't need all that makeup!

One thing about the new site is that they let you post a testimonial. I posted mine. At least this way most of them should be real.

I still have to disagree with the main pic. I like the idea of it. I don't find the girl particularly attractive so if they changed her for someone else I'd be cool with that too :)

oh and by someone else I do mean someone else that *I* find attractive. :2cool:

I cleared my cache and now the page won't load at all - so remember to clear your caches.

You can also just press Ctrl+F5 in most browsers to clear the cache for that particular page.

The site is completely down for me now. I haven't even been able to see it yet. Ah, well, at least I was out in the sunshine for the first time in ages. Internet be damned! :)

n00b - I guess that's why they make chocolate and vanilla. We all don't like the same thing. I don't mind if you disagree with my opinion.
Trust me I don't mean to be so critical but that has bothered me since day one. I actually
was talking to hubby last night about it. We gave those other pics each their own joke voice.

That up and down stuff has to be the different speeds of our DNS servers refreshing or some such.

Also I'm sooo glad they let us post testimonials, I had been asking for that since the other stuff bugged me so much I figured I couldn't be the only one...maybe the only one uncouth enough to mention it...but not the only one. =)

Fyi - I compiled and forwarded issues in these threads via email to Mike at his request. Sky is no longer falling ; )

Main take away is that the price extension was not incorrect just different format than the original website therefore confusing. New website uses the Base + amount in drop down style and displays the correct amount in red numbers beside the name of the carto. Oops, my bad.

Sooooooooo.... this is why I had offered to proof/test the site BEFORE it went live. I really didn't expect it to have this many problems tho, since they've been working on it since February ;)

There are always always problems. In 25 years I never saw any deployment that went as smooth as was expected.

I haven't had a problem getting the site to pull up and I checked it again just now. I don't like the pictures of the batteries or carts. They are too far away to get a good look at the products. I'd rather have the old pictures back up. They were more detailed and I could see what I was buying. Same really for all the pictures the kits are to small to notice any detail of what you are purchasing. I would think the owners of Bloog should be mad as hell at whoever designed and put up the site. It took too long to design this site for them to have this many problems. I'm sorry Bloog. I am normally a very patient and understanding person but even I am disappointed in the problems with the site. :cry: I'm sorry I couldn't say anything nicer. If you had a friend do this then maybe you should have hired professionals because it was just too much for them and if you did hire a professional I would demand my money back because I don't think you got what you paid for or wanted. Again I'm sorry.
