I just got 1.5 litres of 100 mg nic if I vape about 5mils of juice a day at 12mg now and will continually decrease nic content how long could I expect it to last?
1.5 litres is 1500 milliliters of 100mg liquid.
That would be 12500 milliliters of 12mg liquid.
That would last 2500 days if you vaped 5 milliliters per day.

If you reduce the nicotine content over time, then it will last longer.
At that point it just depends on how much and how fast you are reducing the nicotine content.

Someone recently did a very nice write-up of information received from a nicotine vendor on their studies into storage and degradation of Nic Liquid. I couldn't find the link, but the net results were properly stored in glass, protected from light in a freezer with limited oxygen results in about 1% loss per year. PG dilution did slightly better than VG solution for the nic.

Most likely though, if it is banned I'll probably go back to analogs or dipping.
They can pass all the laws, regulations, and taxes they want, but the moral authority to tell us we can't vape nicotine if we want to simply doesn't exist, so I will ignore them and vape on.

This only applies to online sales right? I'd assume that B&M's will just pop up everywhere as vaping is getting pretty popular nowadays. I still don't get the problem tho, the online cigar business is pretty prevelant so what's the difference...sounds like a blatant attack on vaping due to it's impact on Big Tobacco. It's pretty obvious that when something threatens Big Tobacco's $, it gets attacked for it's sale. Before I started vaping, I was rolling my own butts to save money and they were trying to kill that path also. You had to buy pipe tobacco becuz they taxed the .... out of cigarette tobacco and made it pointless to roll "real" cigarettes. They don't want you to vape, they don't want you to roll your own, and yet they won't let you smoke anywhere and they tax butts to the high heavens. It's 10.50 a pack where I live...the only thing left is to go the pharmaceutical route. Funny how that works

They can't stop or limit the sale of nicotine over the counter. If they did, it would also have to cover all tobacco products. They can and will tax it like they do tobacco, and could limit or ban the sale of nicotine online, but it will continue to always be available.

How many of us would have any way to buy nicotine for DIY if it were not online or mail order? I know I wouldn't be able to get it.

Because it's a TOS violation for vendors to post outside the vendor sections. I don't make the rules, but I do know them.

So far as stated in the General Forum Rules, ECF Suppliers ToS, and ECF Suppliers Forum Rules - We are allowed to post anywhere except: Classifieds, APV Discussion, New Members, and other vendors' threads so long as we are not advertising. If I'm wrong, please forgive me - I just feel as though there are a few points that I would like to make on this topic. With that being said...

Everything I'm saying is unofficial, but this is simply what I've learned from my research in the past few months working for (and attempting to market) an eJuice vendor. A lot of vendors are required to actually file the necessary paperwork to be able to purchase, use, and re-sell liquid nicotine online. So far as I've observed, these documents are between the nicotine wholesaler and the vendor - not the FDA or other government agency. So could they completely ban the sale of nicotine online? Sure. But there is a problem with that - cigarettes.

eJuice and Cigarettes get about the same reputation online and the general consensus is that most people want nothing to do with them. We are not allowed to advertise on Google, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, etc. Most of these places will state that they prohibit the sale/advertising of tobacco and tobacco-related products (which typically includes e-cigs and eJuice).

Another problem is the fact that there is still no notable research that states what the absorption rates of nicotine from cigarettes compared to e-cigs into the bloodstream are. With that being said, I would think it hard to create any kind of limiting factor on how much nicotine a product can contain. It's impossible to make the claim that a cigarette with 9mg nicotine (with typically less than 1mg being absorbed) is the same as a 9mg nicotine concentration of eJuice.

Now, could they ban the sale of eJuice (specifically) online? Again, it's the government - they could, but they won't. There's a simple reason for this: eJuices are food flavoring mixed with VG, PG, and (optionally) nicotine. All 3 required components are food-grade materials that are approved by the FDA. The only real part they could ban is the nicotine. So no worries on the flavors with 0mg nicotine.

Don't get me wrong. They are trying to ban the sale of e-cigs and eJuice all over the world. Why? Well, as best as I can tell - better safe than sorry. We've seen the health problems created by the invention of traditional cigarettes and many people worry that e-cigarettes will be the next big thing to create more problems. So what do they do? They try to ban them until they can conduct the proper research to prove the safety/dangers of vaping. But boy oh boy, are they taking their time...

What this all boils down to:

This is why we have the "Urgent Calls to Action" and "Fight for Your Right to Vape" on here. The only people willing to fight for your right to vape is you. All we can really do is postpone these bans in hopes that acceptable research is being made and will be presented before the bans can make their way through.

If only the world would stop looking at e-cigarettes to just be "an electronic version of a cigarette." No. My PV/APV is different. I don't disturb other people with the smell, smoke, or ash. I don't cause cancer from second-hand smoke. I don't litter the earth with cigarette butts. I don't burn cars, houses, clothes, etc. There are simply far too many negative connotations with cigarettes to call what I use an electronic cigarette.

Again, I hope I haven't offended anybody or offered incorrect information. These rules and regulations change almost on a daily basis and it can be a bit much to keep track of at times. Feel free to correct me if you feel that any of this information is incorrect/misleading.

I confused 'manufacturers' with 'suppliers'. Thank you for correcting that bit. You are absolutely correct.

I get a bit more luck. Wizard Labs is just downtown Orlando. That does not stop me from doing the daily action plan, which can get put up a bit layer here, so just follow the link in my sig.

Stocking up on nic isn't a bad idea. It will freeze & stay fresh. We have to be ready for "Big Brother" to step in as there is money involved & the tobacco companies don't like e-cig, or PV's if you prefer.
Just remember that there is NO science on PV's long term, but the money is there. As for regulators just " follow the money" & you will find them.

My 2 Cents,
louis
