The man didn't get into this as a "business", it was a hobby mod that a few of us loved so much he decided to make them available for order. He is a one man show, or more recently since he took on a employee to meet the demand, a two man show. It's not like he has massive resources available to him to expedite the process.

If you can't stand the wait I strongly urge you all to just cancel instead of .....ing about something that is out of your control. The man is not "lazy" nor is he a thief, he can only do what he can do with the material at hand. Yes, I am a friend of Carlos but I also am a customer who can understand that sometimes "spit happens".

Was Carlos caught off guard with the success of the juicebox...absolutely, does he deserve the libelous comments being made on this and other threads....absolutely not! If you are tired of waiting then cancel and get a refund, and ..... There are a few of you that I would never sell a JuiceBox to for ANY price after all of the vile comments due to your immaturity and impatience. Thank your lucky stars that I don't control who can order and who can't because I would definitely be a JuiceBox Nazi and would not hesitate to tell you "NO BOX FOR YOU!" Shut up and ask for a refund if you simply cannot abide the time it is taking to ensure you receive the best product available. Honesty could take his 3 post and his money elsewhere as far as I am concerned.

Carlos is lucky to have a good friends like you to stand behind him, but please don't get angry. I apologize if my statement was offensive, but try to use your judgement to determine if my statements were backed with reason.

We live in a market driven society where we point out incompetent business inevitably become transparent. I am just partaking in this principle because I believe it is what drives our market economy. Nothing vile. No poison. Just making points on where Carlos is lacking in his business.

I believe that my frustration is within reasonable limits. A forum like this is all about sharing opinions and I am just sharing mine. I believe that my comment will be read by people interested in buying the juicebox in the future and will serve its function by informing them about doing business with Carlos.

Yes, it may have started up as a hobby, but became a business as soon as he decided to sell to the public. And before you run a business, you have to think about different possible outcomes (what I call "planning ahead"). I simply do not believe Carlos did that. I'm not saying he didn't because he may have in ways that I could not possibly imagine. I'm just saying that he didn't in any tangible way.

Waiting sucks, but it's okay as long as it's a time frame that was agreed upon at the time of the transaction. I believe that I have the right to ..... if he breaks this agreement.

I'm sorry but if I see that I have been wronged, I don't just ignore it. I let people know.

Honesty: You can't call a man "lazy" when you have no knowledge of his situation. There's a difference between complaining about the way a person is doing business, and making a personal attack on his character. That's a little low IMO.

Snarky: I have to disagree with a couple of your statements (you know I always do :p JK). First you can't say he didn't intend for this to be a business. The minute he put "99 available" on the website, he should have been prepared to produce 99 boxes. I'm not saying he had to have the parts for 99 boxes on hand. (That could be a big out-of-pocket expense to have all the parts up front). But seriously, even if he ordered the parts one at a time when a JB order came in, he should have the parts within two week. "Waiting on parts" is a pretty lame excuse. I guarantee you I could have 99 switches in my hand by this time next week if I were motivated enough to do so.
I can understand you defending his character if he is a friend of yours (I would do the same), but when you try to defend his (obviously terrible) business practices, you are only discrediting yourself a little...just sayin'

Elendil: Just curious...does this "supplier status" come with a small monthly fee or anything? Just wondering if that is why he is reluctant to sign up :?: Also, I have to agree with some of the others, he is not a supplier, he is a manufacturer. Porphy is the supplier.

No fee. There is only a fee if you get your own supplier forum (Janty, PS, etc). You are limited to what parts of the forum you can post in, but there is not fee, only a little time required to supply information.

We do not differentiate between a supplier or manufacturer. If you are engaged in the making or selling of ecigs/juice/accessories for profit, you are a supplier.........

Thanks Elendil. That both clears things up and further confuses me all at the same time. Clears up the supplier/mfg thing. Confuses me on why he would not take the two minutes to fill out the form and get on here. All this time I was assuming it was a principle thing and he didn't want to pay supplier fees when he is a manufacturer. Now I know differently.

Of all the other things (the waiting, the not keeping on top of parts, etc), the not coming in here to talk with us is really the only thing that's bothering me. I mean, running a business and keeping track of parts, order, etc can be hard for some. I have no problem with bearing with his 'learning the ropes' of that stuff. But it takes so little to communicate, that I can only assume that if he is not doing it, he just doesn't care about his customers. I am hopeful that he will get on here in the next few days and prove me wrong.

Disillusioned? Disheartened? Distended? You know what I meant, Debbie. And I expect you to get your refund back, or else carlos is profoundly stupid. If he doesn't, you or anyone else who didn't get refunded will be on the boards to let the rest of us know publicly. Besides blemishing his reputation, it would probably hurt sales of the juicebox in the future.

If I may ask, why did you cancel your order?

Two 1/2 months is way longer than I expected to have to wait, and way longer than I consider reasonable. I was told 4 1/2 weeks when I ordered.

At that time, I did not have much equipment. In the interim, I have purchased many mods. I'm no longer interested.

And, yes, if the refund is not produced, I will let everyone know that.

How are you liking the ggts with afs? I'm halfway there! (Was trying to buy an old model AFS to tide me over, until some folks convinced me to wait.)

I like it. I think it's take a bit of practice to get it all put together just right. :D

But when it's together right, and the juice isn't too thick, it works great.

And I like the GGTS even without it. I just ordered some of the high volt atty's. They were out of them when I initially ordered. I should be getting them soon.
