Carlos, if you are monitring this thread, when you open up orders for the JB again, I will be first in line. I will not complain about the long wait. I appreciate your perfectionist attitude and will glady await a superior product.

Agree, and just in case, I wish that I could even go on a list of ppl who would rather keep waiting than risk having him throw up his arms in discouragement at some point and start cutting any corners he can, just to get this over with and get away from the anger (and intermittent 'tact-free' product trashing found in some places).

(But yes I also do understand he could register simply and communicate more effectively, no one needs to point that out to me.)

Warning: this is not an update. Please skip this message if you are here looking for updates

Just some observations...

On progress: According to the last post there are ppl on that list (of 'nearly finished' JBs) that ordered dec 4. Yet, we are still on track to have all orders out by the end of the month?!?. Really?? So we have 12 boxes (almost finished) in 10 days, but we are to believe that all the rest of the orders from december and january are going to get done in the next 10 days. I'm skeptical.

On communications: Ok, so carlos is SO busy making boxes that he doesn't have 2 minutes to fill out the form and give some updates. That's perfectly fine with me, I certainly don't want to slow the man down. But it seems to me that if there are only a couple boxes a day going out (which there isn't even that), then there should be lots of free time to make the posts necessary to keep everyone informed.

On keeping this thread on topic: please  there is only about 1 update a week (tops). Is it really that hard to scroll through the "OT" stuff to find them? The only people that have any inside info are Juicy and (sometimes) Snarky or Truelove. If you are that concerned with missing something, just look for the posts made by them. Pretty simple.

On complaining (and complaining about the complainers): That's what a forum is for. Everyone gets to express how they feel and everyone else has equal opportunity to react to those expressed feelings with their own. I don't see the problem :?: If you are pretty sure you are going to be offended by a certain person's posts, just skip over them.

Again I have to point out that a lot can be learned from the success of the Saturday thread. Personally, I would like to see all the threads in this group combined into one. That's how you build a true group of people. I think all the oldschool Chuckleheads in here would agree with this.

That is all (for now)
I will now step aside so that major flow of updates can continue

I agree with Highping. I don't know Carlos, so know nothing about what he does. I did order my first Chuck in September and as promised it showed up at my door in a little over two weeks. The same can be said of the other three Chucks I have ordered. I do know that Jeff works another job full time and makes each and every Chuck himself. I also know that customers are much more willing to be patient if somebody just tells them what is going on. You can always tell what is going on with a Chuck by visiting the Saturday thread. I will wait for my JB and usually don't post much anywhere but I am starting to feel like there is something wrong here.

The proprietary atty and self-contained days-long juice delivery system do make it less directly comparable in that way to 'regular' mods tho, which are largely just battery tubes. And a far greater range of unique performance observations have come up from current JB holders, that Carlos may have been taking into consideration as he goes along; whereas the issues encountered by the first recipients of other mods will all be more or less standard and common ones.

Lets face it.

Carlos cannot do business. AND he's lazy. He had more than enough money to buy FIRST the boxes, and SECOND the switches. Business only works with a certain trust between the seller and the customer. When we first purchased our juiceboxes, we were told that the wait is 4-5 weeks (more or less), and we were still willing to pay for it because (1) we trusted that the product would come with the advantages as advertised through video clips, and (2) that wait time would be necessary for him to get a hold of the parts needed.

People who have placed orders three months ago were first told that the boxes weren't in, and now they are being told that the switches aren't here yet. What's next...Carlos lost a screwdriver to put the boxes together and will need another couple weeks to get it? He's given us two lame excuses so far for the delay. Who knows what he'll come up with next?

There seems to be a group of people in his defense claming "oh i know him, and trust that he is doing all this to improve my device. if i have to wait another 50 years for him to place a better switch so i can get a marginally better product, it'll be worth the wait",

but Carlos' excuses are VERY unprofessional and his lack of updates/communication is inexcusable. The only reason I can think of that would delay the shipping time by 2 months on a product is laziness and lack of planning. Carlos pushes the envelope with no communication.

He could have EASILY hired a high school student to put together a list of updates to keep his customers in the loop, but ofcourse he's too cheap to do that (or he's too lazy to find a reliable person to do this).

Okay, I'm going to get shot down for saying this, but he had it coming. But I'd be surprised if I'm the only one in this Juicebox "Fan" thread to hold these opinions.

Your mom said not to say...
The man didn't get into this as a "business", it was a hobby mod that a few of us loved so much he decided to make them available for order. He is a one man show, or more recently since he took on a employee to meet the demand, a two man show. It's not like he has massive resources available to him to expedite the process.

If you can't stand the wait I strongly urge you all to just cancel instead of .....ing about something that is out of your control. The man is not "lazy" nor is he a thief, he can only do what he can do with the material at hand. Yes, I am a friend of Carlos but I also am a customer who can understand that sometimes "spit happens".

Was Carlos caught off guard with the success of the juicebox...absolutely, does he deserve the libelous comments being made on this and other threads....absolutely not! If you are tired of waiting then cancel and get a refund, and ..... There are a few of you that I would never sell a JuiceBox to for ANY price after all of the vile comments due to your immaturity and impatience. Thank your lucky stars that I don't control who can order and who can't because I would definitely be a JuiceBox Nazi and would not hesitate to tell you "NO BOX FOR YOU!" Shut up and ask for a refund if you simply cannot abide the time it is taking to ensure you receive the best product available. Honesty could take his 3 post and his money elsewhere as far as I am concerned.

I think if everyone would take a moment an calmly examine the comments here they will see that the #1 concern is lack of communication and not the wait itself. I think almost everyone believes Carlos is an honest guy not out to steal form anyone.

But there is a big difference between honesty and being communicative. This most recent flare up of frustration comes from the fact that last Friday (2/12) there was a communication from juicy97 that said there would be a list posted on Tuesday of all the juiceboxes that were completed and shipped over the holiday weekend,

Then on Wednesday a list is posted with a note that says these are ready to go, but no switches so they are not ready to go...............

In the message on Friday it was NOT stated that there were a number ready to go, but Carlos is still awaiting switches so they will go out as soon as there are switches........

I really hope all of you blindly defending Carlos can see the difference and the reason for concern. We are talking about orders placed and paid for in December. If the switches were ordered in early December and are still delayed, that is one thing, but when were these switches ordered? Why was there no communication until after the expected shipping date that there is a delay in receiving the switches?

It has been said before, but a simple email with some easy to supply information that would take 10 minutes at most to put together and send and Carols is back on the forum and able to provide updates himself. No money required, just 10 minutes of time That alone would probably go a long way to easing the concerns of many.

I strongly urge him to at the very least, take care of that.
