Can anyone recommend a me a good vape mod and tank. I have a basic starter kit. although I'm enjoying the flavour, I know I can be more satisfied and relaxed if I spent on a 100w. I have been researching a while now and the sigelei 100w plus appeals to me quite a bit and the twisted messes black on gold limited edition rda. I'm still a newbie, but I'm the type of person, who would customize or hop up given the chance. I'm a tinkerer, lol. Still I feel that it might be too much too quick and I hope to keep on vaping and I don't want to be put off. I also been looking at the Eleaf istick 100w. I would think I'd be better off with a tank ( sorry, haven't learned the correct term for them) to go with the istick.
Can someone provide some ideas, please?
Thanks in advance, I'm looking forward to all the replies

Yeah your right, this is a great forum. I still need to explore my options more. although there's enough room for trial and error, I mean this is a big part of learning something new. I figured if I stayed enthusiastic about it, there's less of a chance of me going back. Stay focused on whats ahead... Staying on track and things.
Welcome to the forum, Medleypat.
Thanks

Personally, I would go with a higher wattage box mod like the Sigelei Fuchai or Sigelei 150w temp control.

If you go 100 watts or more the mod will need 2 batteries. They will need to be "married" to each other for safety reasons. If you want back-up batts you'll need another "married" pair. It can become a hassle when the batts die and you do not have 2 more ready to go.
A 75 to 85 watt device will take only a single battery and carrying a spare or 2 around is less of a hassle.

If you go only rebuildable on the tank and have great difficulty in learning to build coils it may not be pretty.

For these reasons I'd suggest a mod under 100 watts and a tank with a rebuildable deck option.
So if rebuilding doesn't pan out in a timely fashion for you, you'll have pre-made coils to fall back on.

Of course if you simply must have 100 watts plus have at it, but know that that territory comes at a price (not talking cash here)

Likewise with RBA/RDA/RTA's
if it turns out you can't build you'll need a plan "B"

You have options, don't commit before you are as informed as much as possible. Cheers and good luck.

Hitmetwice,
Thanks boss, I've got some great insight already. Today is my first session in the Ecf. It is a hassle when the battery dies. I bought a tecc e-electron, simply because it was the cheapest one they had and I hadn't a smoke all day, so wasn't wasting time should I or shouldn't I! It has variable wattage control. Only the one battery and I'm hanging off my keyboard or the wall socket, haha! Nicotine cravings tend to defeat personality too, lol!
To be honest, I don't want to get into it, tooth and nail. Just more flava and more vapour ( and more power!! Grrrr...heh).
What I've understood about E-cigarettes so far is, because mine goes up from 5-10 w, we'll firstly it becomes hot very quickly and the taste becomes bitter. The other is I'm getting spit back through the mouth piece. So it's not going to be long I'll be able to keep using it. If I keep the wattage at around 7w on it and blow some air through the vents, I can enjoy a good vape?!?!... I have a spare coil so maybe that could work better.
Thanks for taking the time to put in some consideration for me.

There's so much options out there. buying something by visual appeal helps a great deal, too. I'll check those out. Cheers

Wotofo makes good, inexpensive RDAs that look nice too. I love my Troll and it has great flavor and cloud production with the build I've got in it now.
