What you all are suggesting is that online retailers can become no or low MOQ wholesalers for local vape shops to buy one-offs. That may or may not work. Prices will be significantly higher than ordering store stock. Low and no MOQ wholesale prices are right under retail prices then you shipping cost then you have to mark that up.

The local delivery idea will still be subject to the same regulations and punishments as the big carriers and will likely not be a viable option for a small outfit as it would be a huge liability to take on. If UPS and Fedex aren't willing to do it, why would Val's vape Emporium take on such a liability (unless val has a terrible lawyer or no legal counsel at all)?

All I'm suggesting is that the dealer, who has the right to have vape supplies shipped to him orders for you
- And makes his money by adding a handling charge
- he may or may not get wholesale pricing but you sitll pay at a mark-up over what it was listed for - If you buy a hundred dollars worth the retail dealer marks it up to say 110 or 115 depending on how simple the transaction - As far as delivery we will see,
it is not the same as a commercial shipper and government regulations may be up to the state.
Nevada allows alcohol shipment by store if delivery driver confirms identity of purchaser.

We are not quite at the state of Prohibition yet, remember 'they' say it is to prevent under age sale, so I can not see them having the grounds to challenge this type of set-up.

If they sitll persist and make it obvious that they are moving for Prohibition -- Then we can try lawyers.
Otherwise the Underworld will appear to fill the demand.

Current vapers can quit all nicotine or use BIG PHARMA nicotine products, maybe they'll even prescribe some new Opioid to help you withdraw. So what if there is a high addiction rate and death from opioids - government and big pharma are always with you. Like in India where very high cigarette smoking and death rates led them to outlaw vaping!!!'
- India would rather engage in Genocide against its own people than let those evil vapes save lives !!!

And finally these are hard times for all, including government, so a reminder from the past:

I placed an order with heartlandvapes over the weekend for a liter of nic and 2 4oz bottles of flavoring. They shipped it via USPS. But in the many years I've been ordering from them, they have always shipped to me via UPS, even small 1 liter orders.

I wonder if UPS dropped them or if maybe their account manager told them to stop residential deliveries already?

I placed an order with them for nic and some boston rounds about 4 hours ago, got the free shipping but can't say that I paid attention to who ships it, I've always gotten mine ups also.

You won't know until you get the tracking #.

Handwriting has been on the wall since 2009 when the FDA first tried to regulate vaping as a drug. So why is anyone surprised?

So true this has been a very long time coming. I admit I never saw it playing out this particular way but it was going to happen one way or another. I hate to say it but the vast majority of vapers took it all laying down.
Honestly I don't believe for a minute they're done coming after us yet. They have had hundreds of little wins and this was a major blow but not their last shot.

Do you think they will have a sale soon?

They rarely have sales anymore and it's usually $5 off a liter instead of $10. I was waiting for a sale but I needed flavors so I just ordered. Was gonna order 2 liters but ordered 1 liter instead in case they have a sale in the next 30 days or so.

The next blow is when Big Tech bans vaping from the internet. No websites, no YouTube reviews, no forums, no online sales. Don't think it can't happen.

Worst case scenerio-I'll squeeze another liter order before the mail ban. I'm sure I have enough to last my life and who I mix for (I'm still going to send my brother his "essential oils"). I told him to watch for the new label system. :)

I'll go you one better - Bet on this solution:

Vape shops which have been competing with and losing to online sales will now become the middle men in online transactions.
You will copy down the description and number of what you want and give to your local shop {over the phone}, who has now set-up to do this. He will place the order for you and have it delivered to his shop where you will pick it up. He will then call you when it has arrived and you will pick it up. And in the event you can not get out and need it home delivered, for an extra charge he will bring it to your door.
Supposedly the 'control freaks' are only outlawing postal delivery because supposedly to prevent sale to minors - Since there is contact with shop owner who can verify your age, that problem is solved.

This is how I buy wine in my city - delivery driver varifies age and identity.

Now we can go back to worrying about the PMTA and what will till be left on the market to buy.

This is the solution I'm hoping for as well. It's similar to how online firearm transactions work: When you purchase from an online store, it doesn't ship to you, it ships to a local licensed dealer of your choice. That local dealer then handles all the required legal stuff before transferring it to you and you pay them a fee for the service. If brick & mortar vape shops would be willing to be the transfer middleman like that, I think it would be the simplest solution to the vape mail ban.

IIRC they're doing a sale every weekend of Feb. FIFOSALE was, I think, the magic word :)
They indicated it would be different products each weekend. I hope nic is included again in one of the upcoming weekends for those who still are in need. Their house nic, Chroma, was less than $30/liter for 100mg.

That is a very good deal for Nic. I am keeping my eye out :thumb:
