P2P wouldn't be a problem at all, I don't think... they never xray/scan packages.

B2P and B2B, USPS probably wouldn't xray packages neither (I think only international customs does that). But, of course, if they get caught, they'd be in trouble. So, obviously, business wouldn't go this route.

Would it work if online vendors changed their business names and return addresses that exclude anything to do with vaping? Like, have a business-name/return-address as "Jim's Gadgets" or "Frank's Electronics."

What about signed disclaimers? Like, "this electronic product/gadget/liquid is not to be used for vaping. We will not be held accountable for customer's use of product."

Just looking for black-market solutions I guess. Or, how it will be in the future.
I'm sure they will never eradicate it (knock on wood), especially since there's countless products in China.

I'm guessing, people/sellers in the US will get them some way or another, and just sell P2P or B2P on black-market underground forums. Probably fine for hardware; but sketchy for liquids (thanks dmbazz govt!).

Vaping360 really does a great job of laying it all out on how B2B will be affected, including references.

Vaping360's take on B2B shipping was Bleak to say the Least.

And at the same time, it's like I'm witnessing 1st Hand the Genesis of a Full Blown Black Market.

...nic...can even ship P2P if they really wanted to.

Just checked. Roughly 4oz of PG based nic in a 4oz glass boston round bottle with cap weighs about 8 oz. Figure in proper packaging and you're probably a bit over 10oz. Maybe figure you can ship about 2.5-3.5oz (75-100ml) "legally" and properly, depending on if you're using glass or plastic bottle.

Not if you label it as a pesticide, then you could ship more than 10oz person to person. You'd have to declare it hazardous and couldn't ship USPS, but you'd get by fedex and UPS that way.

This may be the last nail in the coffin. The final chapter in a book called Land of the Free, Home of the Brave: Not so much. The "system" has decided to kill off vaping no matter what it takes (ya know, cuz the kids). In my neck of the woods COVID took care of most of the small independent stores. This will likely kill off the remaining few. Stomp all over freedom and personal choice and act surprised when they storm the Bastille... I mean the Capitol. At one point George Washington et al. were bona fide traitors and insurrectionists. That sound you're hearing is him spinning in his grave. Personally I have a limit to how many hoops I'm willing to jump through, even if somebody discovers a workable loophole. I'll either bite the bullet and quit vaping or (God forbid) go back to the really harmful stuff.

If the General were to rise from the dead the first thing he would do is take a ride with Nelson and look around to see what his country looked like 222 years after he passed into the afterlife. He would marvel at the beauty of the country he birthed (with some exceptions). Then he would read up on the current state of affairs and the second thing he would do is grab his musket and blow the azzes off every traitorous, anti-American. He did it once, he'd do it again. :)

Though I order online, my supplier is less than a half hour drive from my home. Pick-up is a shipping option for me. I consider myself fortunate.

You really are! I wish could say the same. The one US vendor I have ordered from consistently since 2011 Is across country from me. My visits to vape shops local(ish) to me, most which no longer exist, were a big disappointment. I seriously can't image going back to one.

Wanted to post this last week but I somehow forgot.

Got a package from Fasttech and it arrived with a slit in the back (bubble mailer). Slit was about 4-5 inches. Sliced clean though the mailer, nice and straight. None of the contents was damaged. Contents of the package was clearly visible. Only reason why none of the contents fell out (had a lot f small accessories) was because where the slice was there were a couple of the larger items right there (boxes of coil heads) blocking the hole.

Could have been made by a machine. I dunno. Everything was in there, though. But it made me wonder.

Think if it had been by machine it would have been more of a tear or a rip than a clean slice. Someone at customs with a box cutter wanted a peek?

OK, so I got curious and I just rooted through my trash to find the FT bubble mailer (see what I do for you guys ). Tonight's garbage night so wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew! :D

I was wrong. It wasn't a nice, clean cut as thought when I opened the package last week (I didn't inspect it very closely). It's kinda "jagged" for lack of a better word. Still makes me wonder...

Just because you're paranoid didn't mean there isn't a customs agent with a boxcutter...

    :D

That's the big ? going forward. I tend to error on the side of they are ramping up knowing the coming new rules, they are not going to wait until the 27th to prepare. I feel like seizing vape mail shouldn't be happening until March 27th but it doesn't mean they are not getting a feel for what to look for coming in now so they can flag it in their systems. I'm sure there are vaping customs agents in the know as well as experts.

I still have 2 FT packages floating around out there. :(

Having gone through numerous "scares" over the years, my stockpile ended up growing to the point where I really don't need to worry .. I'm picking up a few things here and there, if it's a good deal, but anyone who has been in this Lifestyle / Hobby for any length of time knows the score ..

Unfortunately, that's not entirely true. There are many long term vapers who seem to have thought all these years that vaping was never going to be touched because "hey, it's just vapor !". It's amazing the amount of vapers that just don't understand the relationship between the US mafia govt and "tobacco".

And, I'll add, USPS has a hard enough time these days with regular, day to day operations .. becoming the Vape Police is not likely in the cards ..
You are not considering those that will be afraid to ship.

Is epacket next on the chopping block? I have mixed feelings about that, but that would certainly drive another nail in this coffin.

If they stop using taxpayer dollars to subsidize postage for retail shipments from China, US vapers that are willing to risk ordering vape gear from China will lose another avenue of supply because few, if any, would be willing to pay the actual cost of shipping from China to USA.
