Aren't all kayfun's a million pieces?
You may be thinking of the Kayfun 4, which is a million pieces.
This is the Kayfun 5, which is only a few hundred pieces(also looks like the Kayfun Prime). Actually, it's not that bad. Maybe like 20-30 pieces if you include all the orings, seals, screws and and and insulators. It's my favorite RTA by far and with the full metal sleeve installed, it's my most vapocalypse-ready tank.

I have a coil winder set with all the tools and rods. I don't wind fancy coils, so I still use a graduated coil rod for all my coils. For single and dual coils it's about all you need.
I haven't used a standard round wire build in years. Until the other day while I was cleaning one of my fused Clapton builds when I noticed some of my round wire coils in with my stash. So I grabbed one and then vaped down memory lane. And they are definitely quite usable and gets the job done.![]()
The Kayfun 4 had 10 billion pieces. The rest didn’t have many and the latest K2019 &K2021 have hardly any. Super simple atties.Aren't all Kayfun's a million pieces?

SXK are now discontinued/unavailable.
You’re not alone.I gotta be honest I gave away the 4 KFL and KFL similar tanks months ago. I just never got along with them. I was happy to get them into the hands of someone that likes that sort of tank. I found them leaky and fiddly.
Same went for my Gennys. Really glad I could pass them on.

Over the years I have found myself intolerant of any atty that I can't rewick on the fly without emptying the tank or needing too many tools. I eventually found my happy place with single coil RTAs that I can remove leaving the liquid in the tank for new wick or coil. I rewick every day.I have several KF4 infinite clones never used. I like them, but I don't like the fact that you need to remove the tank and then use a tool to adjust airflow. I'm a funny vape. I adjust my airflow throughout the day and that's not very convenient atty for that. But I love that it has a full metal tank and it looks gorgeous. But heavy though.
I have acquired a lot over the last 12-13 years and if it comes down to using all the h/w I don't like at least I have it and won't complain.
I did sink about $2000 worth of machine time into mine, so there's that
I was thinking the same as I took inventory last weekend.I agree 100%. I may end up selling a few of some of the RTAs I never used at some point, but I'll keep the ones I used and will vape them if needed.
I'll repost pix sometime soon. It was a project to say the least...but kinda funDang, what all did you do to it?
