If they would offer full-time employment...many don't because they don't want to provide benefits. And how many pay a living wage? My friend is having a terrible time finding a job because of both of these factors.
This is a big factor right now, especially in the service industry. But it is quite easy just to say people are lazy and enjoy getting unemployment :glare:

My Dead Rabbit finally left LA. It is now in Irving, Tx. Maybe it got tired of the Hollywood type, and decided to try and catch a glimpse of the Cowboys during off-season. Anyway, at least it's in the right state now. It shouldn't be long.

There Is No USPS Vape Mail Ban yet.
So can you still have shipments insured by USPS?
    Again:
BUT what happens if items are lost or damaged in the mail and you paid for insurance ?

I assume they will not honor insurance claims on vape products of any type

    true, false or ?????????

Until they make the big announcement of no more vapes by USPS, you can insure anything that goes through the mail. After that, it becomes an illegal shipment, and all bets are off.
Meanwhile, if you purchase from a US retailer, all your info is sent to the ATF & your state's Attorney General, so it'll be nice & easy for them to find you in the future. Ordering from an overseas vendor, probably not, because they're not subject to US laws/regulations, but who can be sure and insurance won't help if Custom's seizes something. All bets may be off soon but it's a sure bet they're not collecting that info now w/o planning to use it, and there's no insurance that'll help when they do.

There's no reason to believe that people's information is being automatically sent to the BATF, although on State and local levels, they do what they want to do.

The BATF will handle it like it handles everything else. A pile of tedious (mostly legitimate) record-keeping by licensees, with the occasional audit whenever the poor unfortunate licensee shows up on their radar.

The way that the BATF works it with FFLs, Alcohol vendors, etc., is that they show up in person and dig into your files. There's no automatic transmittal of anything. There's no "put it in the mail" or "email it". Even such tasks such as background checks for firearms, are submitted through a phone call, with the only legal record of the check being in the licensee's files. The information collected for the background check is presumably destroyed at the Federal level immediately after the check is complete. It's illegal for the BATF to maintain such records in the vast majority of those cases.

Not that anyone in DC follows the law.

It will probably be the same for vaping. Record keeping at the licensee level (possibly YOUR city/state as well) and audits, but not any Fed databases scanned by AI at this point in time.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
My second FT order, which just got released from US Customs in NY this past Weds, was showing an expected delivery date of July 6. But I just checked it today out of boredom and now it shows that it's expected to be delivered
    • Today
    • Sunday
    • "The 4th of July"
    • Independence Day
    •
It shows that it's in town, but it doesn't say "Out for Delivery", rather it just says "Arrived at Hub". Let's see if I actually get it.

I have seen the USPS deliver packages on a Sunday, but never on a federal holiday. Did Juneteenth replace Independence Day?
