I get left with the impression that the "sweet spot" is perhaps a matter of individual taste. Obviously some people have found 5v preferable and mention this when they prefer the Prodigy to current GGs. I haven't tried 5v myself only 6v and 3.5v, and 3.7v but I would like to.

<g>
I hadn't heard that, either way, myself, I'm a conesure of a hand made, well thought out, highly evolved and developed product time tested to endure, with the mindset combined from the end users input, intuitiveness, along side of natural art ability to be decisive in such a manner that creates nothing less then a masterpiece of technology and usability.

That , is why I chose the GG.

This is very much what I believe too, Vaughanie.
I myself like vaping best at 4-4.2v on a freshly charged 18650.
Everyone's tastes are different, that's why it's so great to be able to choose from some may different options with the GG.

With GG and battery evolution maybe one day I will be 24v GG vaping and doubling up as a "smoke machine" at the discotheque on the dancefloor ? <g>

Looking forward to seeing this. :D:D

Nicely put, mudman. :)

The problem is that it is not only about voltage. One additional factor is the atomizer type -- the same voltage can "taste" differently when you switch to different atomizer type. It seems that the GG supports several types of atomizers, so that is a big plus.

And although I haven't tested this yet, people claim that the mod device itself makes a difference. So 6v vaping, using the same atomizer type, but on different mod device will have different "taste". The claim is that, for example, 6v on GG would be different than 6v on the Chuck or other device. I don't think this is physically possible, but one of these days I'll try it for myself.

Hi sar

Quite correct, different atties provide a different vaping experience, from the 510..biggest throat hit but to the sacrife of flavour a bit..801...massive vapour but a mellower cooler vape..901 seems to sit in the middle.
On the new GGTStorm (see i said it right stormy ;) ) one atomiser cap fits all i have mentioned plus cartomisers as well, so although it seems expensive initially your saving a good amount just on adapters.

The reason it is physically possible to have different experiences on different devices is due to the material it's made from, the less resistance the better so you feel the benefit at the atty :) add to the fact there is no soldering or wires on the GG range (and some others) this leads to even less resistance again, it all adds up to one hell of a vaping experience :thumb:

:):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)I agree the taste is different from one device to another. I don't know why but I know it can be at least with some some PVs that I have tried. I don't have a lot to test because I am a GG fan but I have tried a few others. I just love that name, GGT Storm.
