USB PT can perform faster?

every now and then ill get a pop up from my tray that says this device can perform faster if i plug it into a high speed 2.0 plug. i mean damn, i thought this thing was fast enough as it was. am i missing out?

That's too funny. henrid84, you must have a slightly older PC (laptop) with the 1.0 USB interface. I have an older laptop that does that with USB devices, although I've not plugged my PT into that machine yet.

well, i actually have both. the ones in back are 2.0, but i dont want to go through all that trouble every time i plug up my life line. wonder if it would make a real difference.
