"Nameless One" might work. The town I grew up in had a store that had to change names because of some legal conflict, so they changed it to "The Store Without a Name."

I'm lucky in that my real first name is unusual enough that it works fine by itself most places.

Same here. Lots of Andreas, not many Andrias.

Perhaps it is a generational interpretation. spaz and ...... are demeaning terms for people with disabilities. Please don't go there.

You were told to change your username immediately. Instead, you came to the forum to discuss it. I'm rather surprised you have not "moved on".

The fact that a moderator played along suggests you are taking the whole username thing way more seriously than might be necessary.

cacapu means sh?t sh?t in at least one language, and this is a global forum :)

Try kakapo, it's a kind of parrot.

:rules: [Violation] "Trying to place offensive text in a post by evading the forum's built-in word censor, using symbols or alternative letters for example."

This whole thread has had me giggling. I used to be a moderator for a local music forum, and it was ridiculous how many rules we simply HAD to have, for the same reasons: We were global (technically), people get upset for silly reasons, and it's just easier if you have rules to follow. Personally, I can't imagine someone getting offended by that user name. But the purpose of forum regulations is, 'you never know'. I remember one time a girl getting uber peeved by someone saying 'gimp' (in reference to a certain banjo setup), and I had to spend the next 3 days rewriting rules and regulations, and being a hall monitor. Let's all just love each other, and go hug a pug.

There you go I changed it for you.

It's a kind of night parrot apparently. Maybe like a Norwegian Blue or something. I'm not saying anything more

Ruhroh shaggy!

I'm not gonna report this (though it'd be a little funny for the guy to wake up, have his name changed for him, and then that be flagged), but kaka is a swear word in hebrew, spanish, creole & others -- due to its roots it's one of the more common. It's a really impolite word for excrement. If a bull was full of it, you'd say kaka deltaro (caca if polite, but we're swearing).

It's considered exceptionally rude in polish. It's the same in dutch (kak is considered really rude), but you can slide in german and yiddish (kacke), but in many of the nordic languages it's a cookie or small cake.

The best bet here is probably to change it to cockapoo, while chaining him to this avatar and a permanent link in his signature to the breed:

Sorted -- 100% plausible adorability.

I had lots of fun when I was a mod. Luckily, it was a private forum since they gave me control of the built in naughty word censor. I would periodically set it to catch and replace random words, so something like "email" would magically become "aubergine."

Is "...." an allowed word?

Well, obviously not.
