To actually get something to vape that high I recommend going with 24 or 22ga. Wrap for wrap with the same ID coils of 22ga will give you lower resistance builds than the 26ga wire. The higher the gauge the higher the resistance. Just make sure you don't build your builds to high of a resistance or you won't get the full 150w out of the Sig 150w. I think if I'm not mistaken the highest resistance build you can get the 150w at is .48 as from what I can find it has a max output voltage of 8.5v. If you have an android phone/tablet. Download vaper's toolbox it has a nifty coil calculator to get you in the ballpark that your build will be and you can compare different wire gauges with it. It's not perfect but it's a good guess. It also has an ohm's law calculator that can be useful.

Just depends really. If you want flavor and vapor, go with a higher Ω build, if you want heat and vapor, go with the lower Ω. I'm currently using a 26 ga., 10 wrap dual on a 3mm ID, Ω's out at 0.7. Vaping at 75 watts, excellent flavor and vapor. I might build some slightly lower, maybe 8 wraps and give that a shot. I built some 24 ga., 12 wraps on 3 mm that Ω out at .54, that works great on my Hellfire mech box, but that bad dude is pumping 8.4 volts on fully charged batts. Anything lower and it's waaaaaaaay too hot for me. Works great on the 150w box too.

Hey everyone, will a low-ohm coil with less surface area will give more production than a high-ohm coil with more surface area? And will 22awg give me less resistance than 26awg?

I will be using a Sigelei 150 box and I dont know whether to go low resistance or high resistance.

Thanks for the help!

Give us a bit more information please. What RDA or tank do you have, are you going to use one coil or dual and how many watts do you want to set up for?
