Using round kanthal in Immortalizer?

I tend to use 24 and 26g kanthal, would it fit in the contact slots?

It should fit fine.
I haven't tried 24ga, but have used 26ga and above.
The hard part is capturing it under the screws.
The screw always wants to roll it to the side when you tighten it.
