Its says in the specifications that the power goes to 18-25w but the coil is 25 to45w
This is your problem.

Your mod is underpowered to fire those coils. Your sucking and sucking on the device, pulling more and more e-liquid into the coil, and the battery can't keep up to turn the e-liquid into vapor. Thus you're flooding the tank.

You need either a more powerful mod that can put out 50 watts, or another tank that uses coils that only need 20 watts.

Personally I would go better tank. Aspire cleito normal or 120watt one that is what I use but I use it on an rx200 gen 3 and I vape that at 80watts with a 80/20 dragons blood at 3mg nic. I don’t want to say anything I might get done for you see. Got to be careful how you word things or you can get in trouble. I never slate a company I always say their products could be improved and I always state that it’s my personal opinion.
But why would i change a tank i just bought that mod...

So why smok gave me those coils in the first place? They gave me pre installed coil that can do 25to45w and another coil extacly the same

See I’ve only ever owned the baby beast and the big beast. But I used mine on a wismec rx200s that went upto 200 Watts. I still have the big beast but don’t use it. That has the rba in it which is a rebuild able coil part. I don’t use smok because I’ve had these issue with them in the past. Their coils need improving wick wise so they don’t get problems like your experiencing at the minute. Your local shop should have given you more help at the time of purchase and asked a lot more questions.

The Crown Uwell, for example gets a lot of love for being hassle free, just working well, with great flavor and a ton of coil options. I'm not a sub0hmer, but some Smok tank coils can just be difficutl to deal with, in terms of trying to get them to wick correctly, and smok coils have a reputation of having bad QC issues, from time to time.

Anm

I am not DTL vaper... I can consider myself as sub0hmer because I like 0.7-0.9ohm range :) but I like experimentation and variety so from time to time I use DTL subOhm tanks I have...

I have 2 subOhm tanks...

Baby Beast.... and Mello3 that came with my fake Pico Mod. For a few days I have third one... it is Uwell Crown (original). I can honestly say that tank is a few magnitudes better than Baby Beast or Mello3... I love simplicity and extreme quality of build of this tank... It is tank that let me vape DTL without any problems... no dry hits, no leaking, no spit back and very good flavor...

It is too soon for definite opinion because I use in my crown 0.25ohm drop in coil (those came with tank and such low ohm is much too low for me having comfortable vaping ) and I did not yet tried RTA deck that I bought with this tank...

I do not think Crown will ever replace my Siren2 as favorite vaping tank... having said that I wish my Siren 2 was built as well as Crown or Crown had some inserts reducing air flow under coil... regular AF ring on Crown is excellent...

I saw lots of openning videos of this mod and in everyone of them they had the same coils, so its really weird, why would smok give us wrong coils and everyone who reviewed this mod didnt say a thing about it

Because everyone bakes differently. I suck like a hoover where as my mrs is a lot more gental on her vaper she also uses a cleito 120 but she uses her on a eleaf pico 21700 at 70 watts. Don’t mean to sound harsh by that by the way. Vaping can be a complex thing if you get into it and if you read to much on the net you can get seriously confused very fast. Just bare with this post as the more experienced people here can explain it a lot better than me. I’m autistic so I’m very knowledgable about it all but struggle to come out with the right solutions even though somewhere in that vast mind I know the answer. Lol.

Because a lot of stores don't CARE about your vape.

You do have the option of returning, pointing out the coils are rated at 25--45 watts, and that your mod can only do 25. NO ONE runs their mod at top capacity by the way, because you need enough "headroom" so to speak, to give you adequate battery life, and not overstress your mod. If I HAD a 25 max watt mod I'd be running it at between 6--12 watts, max. That's nowhere near enough power to make those coils vape correctly. You are probably drawing hard, trying to get vapor.

Go to the store, explain that they sold you an UNTENABLE combination of mod and tank and make them exchange one or the other. If your like your tank, turn in your mod (MAKE the store do it or do a chargeback if they won't) and then pick a two battery mod with plenty of power. If you can raise the wattage on the coil (via a different mod, that can power it) you may enjoy it a great deal more.

Your equipment is the issue here, not you. Go and get it fixed. Also, if it were me, I might not darken the door of that shop ever again. You can probably pick up a better mod online, for far less expense.

If I were in your situation, that is what I would do. There is literally NO way to make that tank work with that mod.. None at all.

I’ve had terrible experiences from some vape shops before because of their genuine lack of knowledge in what they are selling. You go in most vape shops and ask about mechanical mods and they look at you blankly. People on here are very vape savvy mate. You’ll get all the help you need here buddy. I’m still learning new stuff and I’ve been vaping for about 5 nearly 6 years now.

If "they" were a vape shop, either the sales person made a mistake or he/she was ignorant. They should have known that setup was incompatable.

If you bought from an online vender, same explanation.

Don't get me started on SMOK products.

You've been given advice for your next steps. It's still under warranty so try to return one or the other, or both.

The short answer? Smok is a vendor that has enjoyed some popularity, but for the most part it doesn't really offer a lot of customer support. I don't know what mod you have that only goes to 25 watts, but are you certain that is the case? I just checked the smok priv specs, and it says it goes to 220 watts (although, you aren't going to find a set of batteries to support that wattage).

So, unless you have something ELSE, either you are using your mod incorrectly, or are in some sort of subsetting, where it's not letting you increase the wattage because you have "accidentally" set your mod to 25 watts on one of the preset menus.

Can you please explain how you got the "25" watt maximum figure? I'm trying to find out if you have the WRONG mod, and you are thinking it's the Gpriv, (which SHOULD be enough watts for your needs) or whether you are simply not clear on how to operate your mod.

Find and watch a video or several on that kit by a reviewer on YouTube. It should help you determine what is going on as well as how to use your equipment correctly.

And, my apologies for just assuming you have a 25 watt mod. You probably don't. Can you explain where and how you got this 25 watt figure?

Anna
