Hey everyone new to the forums, and DIY mixing. My question is could I use a tobacco resinoid as flavoring for e juice instead of tobacco absolute from soaking tobacco in ethanol, straining the tobacco, letting the nasty ethanol evaporate, . As I've had success with this method for other tobacco like products.

If resinoid has resin, oil, tar etc in it, then I doubt it. I think that would gunk the atty right up.
Thats what I feared would it even work if I did mix it? I have an Iolite , and dripping is awesome with it!
I read somewhere that you can use oil based flavorings if the mix is weak... I believe someone was using clove flavor (something oil based from perfumers apprentice???) in PG... I don't remember if it was 5% or less tho...

Welcome. Five posts is enough but sometimes it takes a while for the data to catch up with the system. Usually not very long, but can take up to an hour.
It would probably work but be an inferior vaping experience. Also from a quick search, it seems like it would be a lot harder to get a tobacco resinoid (no suppliers) than an absolute or concrete.
