USPS... are they bad?

their tracking seems less than adequate..... Ive had one package that was accepted 4 days ago. Granted its going international... but all it says is it came in to the post office. Not that it got sent out. it has to go from Japan, to the US, and then back to Japan...

No clue how long to wait.

If the package is leaving the US, the tracking stalls once it reaches the export/customs stage and sometimes it can stall for up to 14 days depending on which hub the package is leaving from. Any hub on the Eastern seaboard is going to be 5+ days. I get some stuff sent to me here in the UK from family is the US, and once it hits the export hub I don't hear anything about it til it lands on this side of the pond, then my doorstep.

Unpopular opinion here but I love USPS. I have never had any issues with lost/damaged shipments with them. I always get all my packages in a fast and timely manner and it works fine for me.

I have had many more problems with the other two than I have had with USPS. They have their problems but for me USPS is the best option.

Talking about tracking here... How about their tracking... how does that work. It been sitting at accepted all week.

FedEx is the only shipping outfit I've found to be 100% reliable.

Everything else is hit & miss.

Statistically.. They're as good as anybody else..

You can't rely on word of mouth , because that polarizes the argument.. only people with nasty experiences will speak up , or only people with perfect experiences will speak up..

USPS has been the most reliable carrier for me so far.
