Utah B/M stores get their license revoked

To all those concerned, 4 stores in Utah have had their 2014 business license renewal declined because the city has now classified them as a "tobacco specialty" business. They were notified on December 23rd and the last day they can operate is December 31st. Here is an article about it and there is a link to the letter the city had sent one of the business owners. If you feel compelled contact the city(The contact info for the city attorney is on the letter). I have never been to any of these stores but fear this happening in other cities/states.

I can't believe that there were no comments on this in over 2 weeks... Un freaking real. So, these shop owners and their employees are unemployed and back to killing themselves with the stinkies. Just great...

ICYMI, those shops have now been given a year to re-locate. Still not right or fair but better than one week's notice

Stuff like this coming out of Utah never surprises me. I'd actually be surprised if this wasn't pushed by the Mormon activists as being offensive to gods will somehow like they do with cigs and other things from time to time. I wonder if there is something under the trade infringement laws that they could use to fight it or force the city to help pay the cost incurred by their mistake in applying their laws.
