hey so I have a uwell crown tank and using the .25 coils. I've noticed that it is wicking on only two sides out of the four holes. I've primed the coils the way I should and everything it hits well at like 50-70 watts on wattage mode with short pulls but anything like for 3-5 sec pulls it starts to get a burnt taste and sizzles. I'm using a smok x cube 2 160w. Thanks in advanced.

If your using a high vg juice you might have that issue... the stock crown coils have a thin piece of cotton placed between the housing and the actual coil....its like a "cotton screen" and higher vg juices will not wick fast enough through this screen at those temps for that long of a pull. Your probably looking at a 2 sec pull max. you can take a tooth pick and perferate the screen however and it will allow your coil to wick better just dont go overboard or you may have a leaky mess.

Well i have the tfv4 as well and it has its problems also. They are both great tanks though if you are into rebuilding... i have a really good video on how to rebuild the crown stock coil and it will virtually eliminate your issues altogether.
See idk I have no idea on anything like that. Lol I just started vaping like almost a month now trying to quit cigs. With that I can just use the same coils I have now?

Well yes and no... it would save you some money in the long run...all you would need is some wire cotton and a few other tools you may already have laying around the house. Its more of an advanced type of thing but with wire costing 6.00 for 25ft and cotton costing around 3.00 you could replace 100 coils for around 9 bucks with a little practice and patience. And eliminate your wicking issue as well.

The TFV4 has a lot of options when it comes to factory coils and they are all amazing.... but with that your paying luxury prices.... It does however come with an RBA(Rebuildable Atomizer) which allows you to build your own coils when you decide/if you decide you want to get into that.... However it is a juice guzzler... The Quad Coil and Sextuple coil are two of the best and they are juice monsters. Their flavor is about the same, but the tfv4 wins when it comes to cloud production if thats your thing. TFV4 will also have a different flavor profile than the crown due to the crown using stainless steel wire in its coils and the TFV4 using Kanthal. They are right now the top 2 sub ohm tanks on the market according the the website vaping360.com so i dont think either is a bad choice.

Thanks I appreciate it. I already went out to my local vape shop and bought one wish I would've seen that earlier. Spent like 60 on it. But after using this for a couple days I already love it. Works like a champ. Kills my juice though, afraid to see what it will do with the 4 coil. Lol

The quad coil will be an even better vape experience...but kill your juice even more and your battery because it will take more power to heat the coil effectively. Personally i dont use it as an everyday tank due to the fact of the juice consumption, but I also build my own coils so I can kind of limit it to some extent and save money on coils that way so that money can thus be redistributed back to juice supply. Both the crown and the TFV4 are like the luxury cars of sub-ohm tanks... however your going to pay for the vaping experience you get from them. I started out just trying to kick my smoking habit, and now vaping has taken on a complete hobby for me....Its costly yes....but great therapy when it comes to clearing my mind before going to bed and giving myself something challenging to pursue other than a video game.

i use the .25 ohm coil on my crown with a 70% vg juice and really don't have any issues with wicking - are you using a higher vg% than that?

love both my crown and my tfv4 - both are great tanks - tend to prefer the clp2 coil in the tfv4 (dual clapton) - good flavor, good vapor, doesn't drink as much juice - run around 50 watts or so...

Not really too sure on what my vg is on my juice but yea idk I have to run it at like 65-80 watts or it feels like I'm not really getting anything out of it.

Me personally I would put them in some sort of rotation so to speak...that is what most people do...not only for different flavored juices but also to try to maximize the life of the coil... one tank on one then swap out so your not stressing out the coil on one tank so hard... Plus each tank has different flavor profiles and you may find that the crown coils taste better with certain juices and the tfv4 taste better with others... I find that the TFV4 does better with sugary flavors just because there are multiple coils within one coil housing, where as the crown coil gives richer juices such as custards and deserts better flavor due to the parallel coil that it utilizes.
