I also have a first run Starre Pro from vape Royalty, have not had one problem with it. It has not leaked one drop of juice, except for the one time I forgot to close the valve.

I will agree, that valve is a bad design, I just don't see why it's there.

I think the Crown is a better design, but for some reason, I prefer the Starre coils.

ETA: Vape Royalty is top notch!

Vape Royalty is the bomb and even if something cost $1 more you should buy from them. There service is absolutely outstanding.

I really enjoy my Crown. It is just a great tank and plays well with power and flavor. I also felt cheated with the Starre Pro, but I do believe if someone was a buying a tank today the Crown with 4 extra coils (7 total) would hit you about the price of a TFV kit with 2 coils. The build quality for both tanks is top notch.

The only answer is to buy both haha. The grass is always greener xxx

I was on the fence on both of these....ordered the TFV4 but I have a feeling I'm gonna end up breaking down and getting a Crown too. Damn green grass...

I would totally go for the Smok TFV4, but the problem is I need a tank I can use daily and not blow through juice like that and make huge clouds. Could I set the TFV4 up that way? Sure, but I know for a fact that I would constantly be running at its potential because that is just a beast of a tank. I think the Crown is a nice compromise for me.

It is also is pricey and I'm not sure what the price of the coils is, but they have to be a bit more than what they cost for the Crown. I will definitely go for a TFV4 as a secondary chance when I can though and coils become more available (and I can read a bit more about it).

Guys, just thought I would put this out there. For those of you on the fence about getting The Crown, Code-3 Vapor has them for $22 shipped for the next 24 hours or so (now until I believe 6pm CST Thursday). I just ordered mine last night. Once I get it I look forward to contributing more to this thread, until then thank you all for your information it's very helpful!

The single coil RBA deck is said to be excellent on the TFV4 and would be one way to lower your juice consumption rate.

Yes this drinks juice way more than the Crown and Starre, I diy so for me it's not an issue. The quad coils for a pack of 5 are £16.40 which isn't bad as long as they last as long as the others. I think a major factor of the TFV4 is the deck, it is just so easy to work on due to the size, well I find it a lot easier. As I said before though, once you experience the flavour of that quad coil, it's hard to vape anything else

What is everyone's experience with their Crown's coils' resistance? My first nickel coil is reading at .19 on my DNA200 and .175 on my IPV4. Not sure if I don't have the coil screwed in completely (don't see how I wouldn't, tried it a couple times - same thing was happening with the Freemax coils, but not my Smok TCT coils) and the temperature control is working great.

Otherwise, I love the Crown. It is really a quality tank and the top fill is so much easier to use than the Freemax Starre Pro. The Starre might have the tiniest, slightest edge in flavor, but the Crown's quality, smaller size (same liquid capacity still I think), and presentation (stuff like the box/overall packaging does make a difference for me) more than makes up for it.

Edit: Running the same juice in the Crown that I used in the Starr, the flavor is basically the same. The Crown nickel coil is definitely better than the Starr Pro coils. Taking more wattage and doing it with ease. So much for Freemax's 20-100 watt rating on the nickel coils.

I haven't been too impressed with the Starre Pro, so I ordered the Crown based on all of the positive reviews. $28.86 shipped from Huff and Puffers. Holding off on the TFV4 until I see more reviews.

You will dig it. I don't do Ni, but my Crown stainless at 90 watts is pretty much bliss on my Sig 150. Start it off at 40 watts for 5 minutes, then go 60 watts for 10 minutes, then 75 watts to finish the 1st tank breaking in the coil. I have chain vaped a Crown at 120 pushing it and no burnt hits but it was hot.

Top fill, coil swap is the easiest of anything on the market. I recommend high to max VG juices.

I finally broke down and bought a Crown tank today, I have the will power of a bee on a flower.

HAHA, that was a bad decision! Having so many great tanks is tough. I was perfectly happy with my Starre Pro, the Crown has made me very indecisive. Which tank do I use today?

I'm almost hoping the quad coil on the TFV4 doesn't measure up.

Loving the crown tank. Top fill done right! Only problem I have is the RBA. No matter how I build it or wick it. When I top fill it with the RBA head it initially leaks about .5 ml of juice out the air flow hole. After that it's fine. I know it's not an overfilling problem cause I've loosened the top cap at half a tank and it does the same thing. It's not flooding cause there is no gurgling when I draw. Has me confounded. When using the stock coils it is dry as a bone. Refilled numerous times and doesn't leak a drop. Only the RBA exhibits this behavior. Anyone else experiencing this?
