Mine doesn't get stuck. I'm wondering if yours is authentic. Where did you get it from?

Also I have two bought from two different vape stores

I just found my Crown sitting and thought I'd start using it again because it's a great tank: however I'm facing the same issue as Jonner a year ago: it won't fit because of the airflow ring. How do I get it out?

Won't fit my istick Pico. I know one solution is to order a 510 heatsink so that the airflow ring sits nicely above the battery cover but I can't order one locally.

Yeah. Removing the airflow ring would allow it to fit and to be honest I don't even use airflow controls on the Crown. Jonner's post a year back described the "base below the airflow ring" opening but I don't really see how that's possible...

I can't find anything describing on how to take it off. I will keep searching. Would like to see you get the tank working. It's a wonderful, flavorful vape with nice clouds.

I got lucky and my airflow ring popped off when I took the Crown apart to clean it, I believe it's pressfit so some force might get it off. But I can fit mine on my Pico even with airflow ring on, it's a tight fit and will rub together but it works.

I got the RTA from FT and unfortunately the clone RTA will not seat in the base at all. Am I doing something wrong or is it a matter of clone junk?

I didn't. Took it straight from the box and put it together, juiced the coil, filled it, let it sit for a few minutes and started vaping it.

Sometimes on certain attys you will get a little machine oil on your fingers when you are putting it together. Didn't find this to be the case with the Crown.

If you want to wash it, use some Luke warm tap water, not hot because it can distort the o-rings. Also if you have it apart watch the o-rings. Make sure you don't drop one by accident or when you out it back together you will have a good leak
