All over the place
Has anyone noticed that the "Authentic Crown" pic on FT has different marking on the base, all the ones 3 I have purchased from b&Ms have marking all around the bottom but the FT ones do not.

Just checked. Oh, you mean the writing on it? Yeah, mine is different too, but I don't buy hardware from FT so I don't know of that is normal or not. For something like this, I'd just pay the five dollars more to buy it from a place we know is legit. Now, if FT was selling the heads for .25 a piece, I'd buy 'em up, but not for just a couple bucks cheaper. Just my ways though, more power to anyone that is vigilant in trying to save money, no matter the cost (LOL).

Running a Crown in 316L temp control on a stock 0.25ohm ss coil now. Wild fluctuations in Escibe but it is limiting the temp for an enjoyable vape. The mod really has to work to do temp control in Stainless. This is the trace:

Here is the same coil running on a 304 TCR trace:

Is anyone else getting these wild fluctuations on stock 0.25ohm ss coils in temperature control or am I doing something wrong. Temp is being limited but the traces are surprising to me. What TCR Curve are you using with these?

I have been having fluctuations with the SS coils on the DNA 200 just like yours. It does give me a nice vape though. Has anyone used the crown on the VT200 with a titanium coil in the rba base? Mine will just say check atomizer. In my VS200 it works fine and the crown stock coil worked in my hcigar just not sure if anyone else has tried this or could try to duplicate.

I did get one from fasttech just yesterday and the marking has nothing to do with the one in the photo. It actually has the exact same marking as in the uwell website.
That is good to hear, I was just taking a look and it caught my eye. Thought strange as they have always been straight to deal with.

The hard part is finding the right tcr for stock coils. People using rba have rock solid ss traces. Stock coils are erratic for some reason.
Is there any reason not to use the standard SS coils in temp control? Aside from accuracy concerns. I accidentally ran mine in TC on my IPV D2 -- it was a pretty great vape.

So from the .5 coil i next tried the 1.2 ohm. Dont really care for it. It just does not hit as hard .5 imo. Going on to the .25 tonight and will see how she blows, then the ni. FYI i was doing the safety pin through the coil thing but i do not recommend this. I now get plenty of bubbles from it but they are smoke bubbles coming up. That cant be good i would think.

I have never poked my crown in the coils, but I notice when I get to about half a tank I get little bubbles full of vapor. Kinda funny when they pop. I keep hearing the song smoke on the water in my mind...
