I'm starting to look around for my next device. I've been on an Ego ONE since release. Great device, great size; but the tanks leak from time to time.
The Crown has me interested. I would also like to get into temp control. I'm a little nervous about Ni though. Any word on whether they might come out with Ti?
All I care about is great flavor and no leaks. Huge clouds are of no interest to me. Let me know if you think this may be right for me.

What makes you nervous about Ni? I love the Ni coils in the Crown, but also the SS. All produce great flavor but the . 5 coil might be the best for your liking. Clouds not as intense. But nice thing is the Crown comes with all three coils so you can try them all to see what you like best.
BTW - never had any leaking issues to date with the two Crowns I use daily.

One more question I need help on. I really alike the Ego ONE battery. Can a Ego ONE Mega VT drive a Crown?

Yep and so does the eleaf Ijust2 battery (what I'd recommend for the .25). Used it while on vacation.
here is the stated minimum Ohms for each:
.3Ω –iJust2 - .5Ω -ego1 Mega - .4ΩW/.2ΩTemp -VT
Are you talking about the Ego-one battery or the Evic VT? The Crown coils need a lot of wattage to perform properly, except for the 1.2 ohm coil that goes up to 40 watts. I don't think the ego-one battery has enough wattage, but the VT goes up to 60 watts which is adequate for the 0.5 ohm coil. The 0.25 ohm coil really shines at at least 60 watts so is better with a dual battery mod.
I'm talking about the Ego ONE Mega VT. Not the regular Ego ONE Mega or the Evic VT.

I hope this helps. It has the same dimensions as the Mega but has TC. I just don't know if it'll blow with an amp beast like the Crown. I'm a rookie when it comes to this stuff.

It really doesn't have enough wattage to run the Crown coils, because it only goes to 30 watts. Even the Ni200 crown head needs about 50 watts/joules to run properly in tc mode. You'd be better with something like the new VTC mini that has an update to go to 75 watts.
Completely agree. You should have a mod that goes to at least 75W. The other one I would recommend besides the VTC mini is the IPV D2 -- it is a great form factor, can handle up to 75W, and also supports temp control. I got mine at Origin Vape. And while you could probably find it for cheaper on other online sites, I was truly impressed by their customer service as they shipped out the device with expedited shipping (without charging me the extra) just so I could get it in time for a motorcycle trip.

I would really prefer something tube shaped. Although, paradoxically, I may go in the direction of the Nebox then. While deeper, it's slim, not that long, and could probably be mistaken for a cell phone or wallet.
I need something that doesn't attract attention in a suit pant pocket. And if someone happens to spot it in my hand should be mistaken for something else. My Ego ONE has been really good about being mistaken for a pen. A box mod with a tank doesn't quite work there.
But the real question is whether the Ego ONE VT would be safe with a Crown. If it doesn't work well enough, I can always try something else. Don't wanna blow my hand off though. Black 22mm on black 22mm Crown would be pretty stealthy.

As I said before, you can't successfully use the Crown with the Ego one. Those coils give a totally anemic vape at lower than the recommended wattage. 30 watts just doesn't cut it!
I use egrips for stealthy vapes - they're tiny, but of course the flavor and vapor doesn't compare to the Crown (which doesn't matter when I'm out and about!)

Sorry but tube shaped mods will attract way more attention than small box mods like an IPV D2. Plus they will take up more space in your pants.
Today's box mods are nothing like they used to be. You have many options for small box mods that are all stealthier than tube mods.
