you can remove the anti-spit part of the drip tip.
Yes, but once you remove the anti-spit back piece of the drip tip, won't the remaining drip tip get really hot, being directly part of the atty.

Loving mine now, but looking for a new rda.
Narrowed it down to 3 and I know they are all different and 3 price points.
Petri V2, Goon or Tsunami 24.
Any opinions?
I'm considering the tsunami 24 myself. Found one called the Stargate on eciggity that's a cross between the goon and tsunami but is 22mm. Looking at the new dripbox 160 is what makes the tsunami appealing to me right now.
I stand corrected, Tsunami 24 all the way..Loving mine now, but looking for a new rda.

Yeah mine too, appears to be welded in there, lolMy spit back is tacked well. Several had theirs fall out lol. Did you have to work hard to remove yours. I tried the whole pull it out with needle nose pliers etc... but to no avail. Like I said mine is tacked in place really well lol.
I use it without, looks better as well.
all it took to get mine out was a small yap with a hammer and a screw driver seriously small tap and my 510 has been fine on both of my series boxes with hybrid capsMy spit back is tacked well. I've got the petri v2 and have all the accessories for it. It's run exclusively on a series box, .40 build. I use the dotcap but the standard airflow cap and I must say the vape is phenomenal and I've used a loads of atties. I've been vaping for over two years and it's by far the best vape I've ever had. I also have the goon and while the clamps are neat it reduces building space and depending on your build this atty gets really really hot. I have to use the chuff tip (2 airholes) with the current build I have in it (framed aliens, .12 ~90w, 3.43v) otherwise it's not usable for long, even with the chuff and lower voltages after a few pulls this thing still heats way up. I would pass on the goon to be honest. I can't speak for the Tsunami 24 but it's got all three things that make for a good atty, Kennedy style airflow, 24mm and velocity style deck. If you want simply astounding flavor, get the petri if you want a mix of great flavor and clouds pick up the Tsunami 24 and with the left over cash get some juice or another atty.Loving mine now, but looking for a new rda.

The tsunami 24 is a really decent Atty great flavor and vapor however its got a large flaw IMHO and it drives me crazy!!!! I'm not sure the reasons for it as it seems to have study construction with fairly thick steel But if you put any advanced coils in it (aliens fused Clapton's staples etc) it gets unbearably hot after 2 pulls. I put some stainless steel .14 framed Staples in it and had to take them out after 20 min because it was molten freaking hot. Next I put some basic 28gx2 core fused Clapton wire in it spaced .22 build and I got maybe 2-3 more pulls into it then before but again it was freaking molten hot 8(I'm going to pick up a tsunami 24 for the price and see how it is
