Loving mine now, but looking for a new rda.

Narrowed it down to 3 and I know they are all different and 3 price points.
Petri V2, Goon or Tsunami 24.

Any opinions?

I have the Petri v2, it's beautifully made 2 post design with the widest post holes I have ever seen on a 22mm atty. I personally find the airflow slightly restrictive, so bought the cloud cap and am now waiting on the chuff cap, as I am still not happy with it.

It's definitely a flavour chasers' rda, it's easy to build on and I need to give it more time to get used to it. Personally I much prefer the Phenotype-L which has much wider airflow, and gives a bit more of a sophisticated vape and a harder hit to me.

The Goon is also very appealing and was seriously considering buying one, but am suspicious on how well the flavour aspect of it will be, considering the airflow and shape. Love the way it looks and its larger size, just not sure how good it's all round performance will be.

The Tsunami is also another interesting rda, I personally love the Kennedy 24, which the Tsunami takes many of its design cues from, but with a 2 post design, which can only add to the airflow. One of my issues with the K24 is the early coil carbonisation issues, due to the thickness of the top cap. This seems like something the Tsunami won't suffer from, so may be a step in the right direction for a bottom airflow atty.

For me it's the Tsunami if they made it in 24mm.

Otherwise check out the Phenotype-L before you make up your mind.

I'm considering the tsunami 24 myself. Found one called the Stargate on eciggity that's a cross between the goon and tsunami but is 22mm. Looking at the new dripbox 160 is what makes the tsunami appealing to me right now.

There is a Tsunami 24!!!!

I totally missed that....

My spit back is tacked well. Several had theirs fall out lol. Did you have to work hard to remove yours. I tried the whole pull it out with needle nose pliers etc... but to no avail. Like I said mine is tacked in place really well lol.
Yeah mine too, appears to be welded in there, lol

all it took to get mine out was a small yap with a hammer and a screw driver seriously small tap and my 510 has been fine on both of my series boxes with hybrid caps

I've got the petri v2 and have all the accessories for it. It's run exclusively on a series box, .40 build. I use the dotcap but the standard airflow cap and I must say the vape is phenomenal and I've used a loads of atties. I've been vaping for over two years and it's by far the best vape I've ever had. I also have the goon and while the clamps are neat it reduces building space and depending on your build this atty gets really really hot. I have to use the chuff tip (2 airholes) with the current build I have in it (framed aliens, .12 ~90w, 3.43v) otherwise it's not usable for long, even with the chuff and lower voltages after a few pulls this thing still heats way up. I would pass on the goon to be honest. I can't speak for the Tsunami 24 but it's got all three things that make for a good atty, Kennedy style airflow, 24mm and velocity style deck. If you want simply astounding flavor, get the petri if you want a mix of great flavor and clouds pick up the Tsunami 24 and with the left over cash get some juice or another atty.

EDIT: I also want to add I have the Rafael, running a .5 build in it on a series box without the added tip and have had zero issues with heat even chain vaping. Though since my Subzero 24 and petri v2 have series builds the Rafael hasn't been getting much use.

I'm going to pick up a tsunami 24 for the price and see how it is
The tsunami 24 is a really decent Atty great flavor and vapor however its got a large flaw IMHO and it drives me crazy!!!! I'm not sure the reasons for it as it seems to have study construction with fairly thick steel But if you put any advanced coils in it (aliens fused Clapton's staples etc) it gets unbearably hot after 2 pulls. I put some stainless steel .14 framed Staples in it and had to take them out after 20 min because it was molten freaking hot. Next I put some basic 28gx2 core fused Clapton wire in it spaced .22 build and I got maybe 2-3 more pulls into it then before but again it was freaking molten hot 8(
Finally I settled on a basic single core Clapton build which I built to a .35 and it is working sooooo much better

Guys. I am missing a step. What so special about the X posts? Also, I have genuine velocity v2. Just not seeing how this RDA would be better.
(Side note: if anyone knows where I can find proper Alien wire, please let me know, most of the crap on sale is flat ribbon Clapton and they call it alien)

The neutral posts allow you to build in parallel, which does not cut the resistance in half like building in series does. One drawback to that is that ramp up time is slower (just give it MOAR POWEH). However, you can also build with two sets of series coils in parallel, so you can double the amount of surface area to vaporize juice, but still have fairly low resistance without going extremely low. It isn't a matter of "better" necessarily, it is a matter of "different" and "flexible". Personally, I like to experiment.

So I built this earlier today, my first try at a framed staple -

But it was reading way too low for any of my devices to fire, so I built a second, messed of wrapping it and then built another, which I messed up less badly. They come in at around .3Ω om the Rafale X....this is why the neutral post is handy.
