Just got one today and put 2 alien captions in series mode (using the neutral post) so was at 0.66 ohm roughly, wicked up plenty of juice and a really weak vape!
I know the coils will take some ramp up but i was going to 120w pre heat and then 80w on the 213 and it just took ages to get any sort of decent vape???

The Rafale X seems to have a long 510 so much so it was gapping on the cuboid, which would read the resistance and then give me atomiser short!
Strangely my VTC mini read it and would fire but took forever to glow the coils at 70w.

Pretty disappointed and straight back on the avocado 24! If anyone can help I would really appreciate any tips.

.6 will take a lot to heat. Would be over 8 volts to be at 120w. If my quick calculation is right . How many wraps did you do? Could you remove a wrap to get it a little lower?
I had to play to find builds that worked well. But once you figure out its sweet spot (like any new design)it's a good atty.

I have some 316l staple coils on mine 3mm id 8 wrap right now reading .5 tossed it on my noisy cricket and the Vape has been super freaking amazing seriously never thought I would be vaping SS316l on my cricket because of the stupid low resistance and the rafale looks a little funky on it due to the size but it is one hell of a genius RDA for people who Vape series and I am just loving this neutral post

Could I use a 0.85 Clapton coil at 30W fine on this ?

I hate "cloud Bros"
Hells ya I loved mine with a very similar .79 Clapton I had was running it with the smaller airflow opening of 1 hole of the 3 open at 35-40w I'm sure you could use 30 just be prepared for some fairly annoying ramp time

I actually have 4 small standard spaced ss wraps in s/p mode? Quick ramp and good vape. At 20 bucks I'm tempted to pick up one or two more for the vape stash. Overall I really like it's versatility and with that cost it's a no brainer.

Cheers dudette. I got a 150w mod but don't really like vaping over 45W max. Hate blowing out too much clouds but like a flavoursome vape. I shall purchase this [emoji33]

You will have to play with it to get your builds right. Series takes a minute to wrap your head around when all you have built is parallel.

Lol using the neutral post would make your build series. Your 2 coils add together instead of dividing in half. That's why @Sed8op8 mentioned being able to use really low resistance stainless coils. Her two .25 coils would have been .125ish on another rda but are .5 on the x. Depending on your coils you could do 4 in series parallel and have the resistance of the original .25 coil but tons more wire.
As mentioned there are many ways to build this rda, which is why I'm surprised it doesn't get more love.
Hope I didn't rant too much and helped explain.

Bought one today and plan to experiment with it for my Series box mod.

But from my initial once over, I love the build deck and concept, but don't like the ugly anti spit back drip tip, and I don't like the small post holes. Most importantly though all my mods are straight to battery 510s and I don't like the 510 pin, it looks like it can screw in further.

I don't regret buying it, yet, and am willing to give it a chance as it has potential on a series box mod?

I agree on the post holes but have managed to work around them so far. Oversized coils will be an issue.

you can remove the anti-spit part of the drip tip.
My spit back is tacked well. Several had theirs fall out lol. Did you have to work hard to remove yours. I tried the whole pull it out with needle nose pliers etc... but to no avail. Like I said mine is tacked in place really well lol.
