I have 3 of the 650mAh version of this unit, and I just love them. They work well, and they go from 3 to 6 volts-not just 4.8 volts like my twists and spinners,so I was tickled pink to hear the 1200mAh was available at Gotvapes.com.
I recieved the unit and thought it was everything I expected. They even fixed the end cap problem-on the 650's it fell right off when you pulled the charge cord out.The battery heats up slightly when charging, and the adhesive failed immediately on the smaller units. Not that big a deal-I would just pop it off with my fingernail when they arrived, and replace it with a drop of super glue.
The 1200 has one MAJOR flaw-the ten-second safety cutoff. On this unit it shuts the battery completely off, meaning you have to hit the button five times to turn it back on. Often it shuts off after only a few seconds of vaping. Both the 650's and the 1200 have a tendency to stick on for a couple of seconds after you let go of the button,so when you go to take your next toke,it is off. I find this extremely annoying.I bought three of these and I really tried to like the unit, but it is a battle to try and vape on these.
I usually really like Gotvapes.com,however they (Max) have been a real pain about this one.Since this was the intended function by the manufacturer, they say it's not defective so I can't return them.I will continue to shop there, but not for anything I have not tested myself.
If you are considering purchasing one of these, the 650 is a lot easier to use. The battery life is not that great, but I drive a semi truck so I can keep it plugged in most of the time.
Happy vaping!
