The new mod should be slender with multiple voltage options, also, the adapters should all match the product (meaning, that they look part of the mod).

Self customization option is pretty cool, with silicon skins which reduce the probability of completing circuit in pocket and will protect hands from burning if something happens and it gets hot. Also you can texturize the slip ons so that the mod won't leave your hands unless you put it down.

A way to block/lock the button (if there is one) so that there is no incidental turn ons.

Also, being able to switch from auto to manual is a great idea.

OK, back to the mod, I can't find it, but I have seen the one that comes with an open top for storage, you can use one RCR123, one 186500 or two CR123A's with all the suplied parts. The video was neat, it' was sitting on a bar and hands were taking it apart and changing it up with craz music playing in the background. It's been done, and IMO it's just too big. Most of the mods on the market are to big to be realistic for daily use.
This is why I sugested the 10440 size, same as a AAA battery, not as slim as I would like, but it's common, get two bats and have one charging while you burn one. It should have plenty of juice for a decent run.
I like an auto, but there are several that like a manual, and after having a magnetic driver tip in my pocket yesterday setting off my auto, an on/off switch would be good.
But lets take it a step farther, give everybody something? A three position slider with a momentary contact when pushed down? Position one is off, position two is auto, position three is manual and you push down on the slider to activate it? Since it wil have a regulated charging system, just add that to the PCB and go?
You could even eliminate the LED entirely, just put a plastic cap on the end to cover the USB port. I really think the USB needs to be integrated into this for a lot of reasons!

That's the biggest improvement left to be made to a commercially available PV

(or a carto that actually hits  )

I would like a device implanted in my brain that
1-switches flavors effortlessly upon thought
2-makes vapor plumes fly from my mouth upon thought
3-never tastes burnt
4-produces vapor from a 120v vape
5-just produces, no actual device to hold, press, fill etc. it will just make vapor appear upon exhaling....just a chip that would be implanted, nothing else.

This is my idea of a perfect mod :D

For the carts....there needs to be something done to make them easier/faster to refill...maybe something like the filler in the cart being enclosed in it's own little"package" in the cart so it could be easily slipped out of the cart so you can rinse/dry it and maybe dip it in some juice to get it completely soaked and then just slip the whole "filler pack" back into the cart and vape away!!! I think that is a hell of an idea!!:D

Maybe ten min! Then it only suplies 1.5V, you would have to have at least two bats to get good voltage to the atty, then those batteries don't provid the amperage needed.
The 10440 is 3.7V and 500mha, it's even a bit on the small side, an 18650 is 3.7v and can go up to 2600mha.

The 10440 is my favorite size... I have 2 sets from DX on the way.. 3.7v 600mah and protected! but the problem is that they are not 600mah or even 500mah...they are 300mah some tested them at 350mah... so not really better than the XL VK battery. That's why I suggested the 14500 they are rated at 900mah but they put out around 600-700mah IRL twice the the amp hour of the 10440.

I'll get them this week and I will probably test them later to see how much they really putout...just need to get a 3.2 ohm 5w resistor so I can test it like it's a real atty.

Well it looks like I'm out of this contest as I only have ever used the V4L product and see no reason to try anything else. I did try to sample a 510 before I bought my v4L but it wouldn't work. I was out of carts once and checked if a 510 cart would fit. It wouldn't as the threads were different. I guess an adapter would be good if that ever happened again but I keep my stock up so that doesn't happen again.

not sure if this applies but you need a adapter kit that would have maybe 4 or 5 of the major brand threading. wouldnt even have to be that big. example: thread, 1/4 - 1/6 inch section to different threads. or even a slide on side. it would be cheap and extremely effective.

just my thoughts.

the Adaptomizer would be a great product for those wanting to transition to a VK but not wanting to give up the product they praise already. and allowing them to spend very little money to test the product and see if they like it.

Which is why I suggested developing a protected battery with AW right off the bat! His batteries rule the flashlight world! He might evn be able to come up with an IMR type of that size? But I know he could easily do the 500mah!

With all the talk of cartomizers, I get frustrated taking off the condoms. I had a battle with a mitre saw years ago and lost half a thumb they can be finicky for me. Endmills can come in a package that is a harder plastic and the two pieces screw together with two tabs on one piece and threads inside of the other. It's pretty slick and easy to use.

would also be great for those who want to just try a V4L Cartomizer & flavors.
and their are plenty of curious customers debating about Caromizers.

would of course have a V4L logo on it that would look pretty kool as a small accessory.
