All I can say is NOT another fat battery case! If I wanted a silver bullet, Eastmall's newest or a chuck, I would buy it. But they are not for me. I like slim..I have a VP1 it's slim but very long and the protected rechargeable AA batt lasts all of 2 hours. And yes I can use a carto on it. I am not happy with it.
I want a casing that is good looking, a choice of metallic colors incuding gold, silver, brass, copper and maybe even pink gold and brushed steel. Gun metal black would be cool.
A fat button..not one of those ""hurts your finger small round ones.
A choice of threads..including of course, cartomizer. I don't need all of them.
A charger that holds at least 2 batts!

I liked the idea of a micro usb to turn the batt into a passthru.
No bits and bobs to break and need replacement! Just clean lines, 1, I repeat 1 small logo like on the new batts. I passed on the protege, the vapre51 and others because I don't get paid to advertise. I don't wear logo'd clothes or carry branded purses. I make one exception..V4L.
I am fond of filigree work in metal..that could be a nice touch on the ladies mods.
The only thing I would like to see in a new carto is an easy to refill removable top..not the old pop top that breaks. 8-o

Agreeing with everything, (except maybe for the girly girly stuff
)How about a shortie battery with something like a small whistle tip. Easy to pull off to refill and not all that big. Like the tip on a cigarillo that would fit on the carto.
If that is in reference to my post right before it all i can say is ... did you look at the picture?
That thing is small enough to close your hand around and have nothing but the mouthpiece sticking out. It may not be just a tiny battery but for the performance of HV you wont get anything that is I don't think. And not to mention if you look at it you'll notice in the section close to his thumb is an entire bottle of juice which means at least a full day of vaping for most people without a single cart change or refill. Great for while on the go.
In my book that would make it worth being the size it is.
But that's just my opinion and everyone has their own
I too would love something the size of the GGSlim that can also be used as a PT and and has all kinds of goodies. But that one of tinears up there is definitely a one of a kind and would sit apart from the rest
I would like to see a transparent VK, similar to this phone, so I can view all of the parts working (lighting up).

My idea for the Ultimate VK would be to contact tinear about mass producing his "mAhmba" concept PV
(obviously dependent on if he is willing and doesn't already have it in the works)

Yes, I think that is larger than I would like to carry, I hadn't noticed the juice, but I do now. It's a nice design, and a decent idea, but would you really carry that everyday? Another problem I see with most mods is it looks easy to snap off the adapter as it will be sticking out of your pocket.
I wish I had a CAD system on this computer so I could come up with a drawing. Basicly 1 1/2 times the length of a AAA battery, gives room for the charger and switches, which I think if done right would just need to be on and off after using the new auto batts. Just a little bigger around than a AAA battery, then the adaptors screw into the back.
The Fenix EO1 is my insperation for this, just a bit longer than this:

I don't know a thing about mods, the VK is all I've used. But what about a couple new ''stealth vaping" e-cigs? I've seen a thread somewhere on here where a guy made his VK to look like a ball-point pen. Make like 3 or 4 new discrete models like the pen, maybe something to look like chapstick/lipstick? just a thought.

Yes I can see it not being a match for some people but being great for others. I could see myself using it everyday as for me when I'm working (which I don't do much of in the winters as evidenced by my amount of time in the forums lol) I spend alot of time either at the pc or driving and usually on a combination of calls on 2 cell phones sometimes equaling 4 calls at a time so something that I wouldn't have to mess with refilling or changing carts on and that is easily set down on any flat service without having to worry about sticking the mouth piece in a dirty or dusty spot would be great for my needs. I could also see something like that being the type of thing that I could use to finally get my father to make the switch because I have been trying with my other small devices and had no luck most of which is attributable to the fact that since he doesn't want to waste the time refilling carts it isn't a huge savings for him like it is for most of us but that would be.
I do like the other idea and thumbnail you posted also though. Something like that is also a size I would be happy with.
Just to clarify I don't think the one I posted should be the only mod they would do but I definitely think if it was even a possibility then it would be a great one to add to the lineup along with others.

No worries, it's just a sounding board, you and I are both seeing things that are not being made and trying to fill that void! I appologize for missing the one you showed having the fluid in it, that does make it different from the others for sure!
I don’t think this would be quite a "mod", but I would like to see a PT USB Extension Cable. My PC sits on my floor, so the PT barley reaches my mouth. No USB extension cables I have tried carry the current needed to power the PT. Like I said not quite a Mod, but this would work with all the kits, since they all include a PT, so I think it still counts

Their identity is so tied to the cartomizer that it seems natural to me that any mod they make would be built around cartos. I mean that would really set this mod apart (I don't think there are any other mods on the market that are made specifically for cartos, are there?).
There are so many mods coming out these days (and so many of them similar) that I think being able to claim that you're the First or Only mod specifically made from the ground up for cartomizers would be fantastic from an advertising standpoint.
The addition of adapters would be sure to keep V4L customers buying from them; even if they bought attys elsewhere they would keep coming back for the product they started out with: quality cartos from V4L- because they would be native to the mod.
With a juice box (or a pipe style mod) they could just buy it and then drift away to buying juice from someone else..

Completely understand what you're saying Birdy and it does make sense.
But.... (there's always one) ..... there are adapters out there for almost all of the current thread styles to be able to use the cartomizers on them already and there are a lot of other vendors selling cartomizers that could be used with V4L products and at a lower price.
I think what makes the difference that keeps people here with V4L is the products they carry, the special changes that are made to them, the customer service, and the fact that the crew at V4L does everything they can to instill a sincere sense of family and loyalty in their customers.
Also the style may not be V4L-ish in it's looks but coming out with it would be V4L-ish in the sense of their stated commitment to bring the newest and best ideas to their customers.
That and..... just think it's molded plastic/pvc which means...... the ability to mass produce in a variety of colors to stand out the way that V4L likes to do lol

I understand the jealousy bit! My old cigar box holds all my various devices and they call to me all day!. But I am using them less and less as I really appreciate how good the VK batts are! But in a worse case senario..they are there. I used my 901 batts yesterday..I forgot how often you have to recharge them! I am am spoiled now.
All I know is a sleek looking mod with the V4L logo etched into it with choice of color and the ability to use all atties with the adjustable Drill bit like adapter with the ability use something like the FANG for a direct dripping experience would be just perfect. Or maybe have the cartimizer itself have no filler but capable of holding 2ml's of liquid without leeking man you could go all day without changing carts or refilling. best part about that is no worry of burning filler or anything just unscrew attie's cap drip 2mls in cartimizer screw cap back on and good to go.

I understand that people like the idea of a sleek minature mod, but for those V4L should/could just get the best mini mod out there, and look at a rebranding deal - they've been done many times, and they're really just a hairs breadth away from what we already have (just you take the battery out of the casing to recharge it).
Most mod users, and many V4Lers as demonstrated by the posts here, like the mods for their extra power and flexibility, which means they're gonna be bigger, so unless we can get 2 V4L mods (which would be awesome - a small one and a power one) then I still recommend we aim for a power mod that will nicely complement the small and simple (comparatively) VK
