paved track.....the cars used to have the World of Outlaws wings on top but people had difficulty getting in them. that is actually a go kart from a defunct indoor track where some local racers were get their "racing fix" during the winter league there. you could "dangle" the rear
through the corners just like racing on dirt but, you would just lose time and real estate.
we have moved on to another indoor road course track as well as the real thing when the warm weather comes back.
Street Stock is the best class because it always has the most cars in the venue.
SST Sportsman which is a lighter and less horsepower Pro Modified is the class to spend your BIG BUCKS on since the SST Sportsman rules are the same where ever you go. it cuts down on a lot of setup time from one track to the next. there are a lot of rule variations for the Pro Modifieds.
the same also applies for running a Late Model which is just a "Late Model" style body NASCAR stockcar.
i love my racing.....i love the friends i make, the rivalries we create and all the other racer's families we meet
i like a lot of racing, NASCAR, F1, IRL, ALMS etc. but, i really enjoy local short track because we put so much and endure so much to get there every Saturday night to take on the guys with the money......money wins BUT, the underdog always always always gets the eye of attention just because we love to see "Bad News Bears" type action.
