well I dont see it on the check out screen. I even made sure before I checked out to re-enter it and it said it was already added. but It didnt go through. gonna have to make a call now.

I don't like that either ! I have to be such a penny pincher these days I like to see what's going on each step of the way. Luckily I got the discount but I was worried too. A course, spoken from the only person who liked the old site better anyways. The brightness of the new one hurts my eyes too much.

Yeah, I have mine set to blackened too, it's cooler somehow Sorry to hear you didn't get your discount - every $ saved helps. I don't like the way the discount codes are applied on the new site. I can't tell until the checkout whether it's working properly. This matters to me because I am in such a different time zone and I'm never quite sure whether I've got in before the offer expires. You'd think that my being in the future meant that I could always 'beat the clock' but it doesn't work like that.

Happy Thursday, by the way. It's about 9.00am here. I don't normally get up this early, but DH needed to work early so I had to take DD to school. Eugh! Need more sleep

Greetings from dark, dreary dreadfully cold Chicago I am downtown with DH while he teaches and hope to sneak a dinner at Texas de Brazil before taking him to the hospital late tonight. Yep, he's going back in...the doctors were yelling for him to check in while we were in Floriday <sigh> Like we could do anything about it there I am trying to be upbeat and all smiles but it's very difficult right now...I think I just ran out of "perky pep" So, his doctor's have been increasing the volume of their threats and he tried to check in last night as one insisted but the emergency room doctor sent him back home. The first call this morning was from his doctor saying, "NOW!!!" but Bob was able to to talk him into late tonight, after class Yep, he's a true negotiatior! He says that's why he's paid the "big bucks," and then he falls down laughing Wish us luck...because this time it is acute kidney failure <double sigh> If not one thing, then another...right???

Yeah, acute kidney failure and he'd go into the hospital, give more blood, get sent home, get called back, give more blood...and on and on and on, and that's since we got back from Florida <sigh> Now his doctor is saying STAY but no one in the emergency room would admit him <fiddlesticks!> So, his doctor finally got that straightened out and after class tonight, he checks in! The problem, and I've seen his test results, he doesn't have enough markers...there's only one area that's high so I'd probably have sent him home, too Now they will keep him for more and more in depth testing but I don't know that they will find anything because there are no symptoms and only one area of his testing has been wonky. So, it's a complete mystery but they want to be safe and not sorry...I am crossing my fingers that it is a recent major change in his meds that is the root cause Once some adjustments have been made, maybe he'll be back on track

Seriously...he is the healthiest sick man I have ever seen!! He runs rings around me, that's for sure

Oh, no...the heat, I totally forgot about that! I'll have to cancel the guys coming out to fix it...can't be there because will be at the hospital instead <sigh> Oh, well, it's still working...just very sluggish I imagine it will be frosty when I wake up tomorrow

Time to go and pick up DH at his classroom and then have dinner before the drive home I only hope he doesn't give me a lot of grief about going to the hospital later He is devious
