The moon shook and curled up like gentle fire
The ocean glazed and melted wire
Voices buzzed in spiral eyes
Stars dived in blinding skies

Stars die. Blinding skies.

Tree cracked and mountain cried
Bridges broke, window sighed
Cells grew up and rivers burst
Sound obscured and sense reversed

Idle mind and severed soul
Silent nerves and begging bowl
Shallow haze to blast a way
Hyper sleep to end the day

Hey minions!

Here's the rundown of what's going on at the moment.

As you all know, the trip is happening sooner than I anticipated. Paperwork was processed lightning fast and within 24 hours of my last communication with NZ immigration I was already sent the decision letter with my passport. Luckily, they granted me a visa for 6 months with an additional 2 weeks to book the flight so I can fully use said 6 months. Ideally I should be closing Bionic Vapor sooner than the 30th, at most the 26th. The reason being that I need to finalize all orders and also make sure USPS delivers them all. If someone ends up having issues with USPS and I'm already away, it'd be frustrating and unfair. On top of that I need to make all the travel preparations given it is an excruciating long travel. The total time spent on this trip is 38 hours, a whole day and 14 hours. I've got a 13 hour layover at L.A. and 6 and a half hours layover at Auckland, NZ. I need to organize everything with each airline, prepare the luggage and wrap up everything here before going. At any rate I decided to push it until the 30th since it was so sudden. Every single order will be out the door before then.

In regards to the availability for everyone to still have their ADVs, initially I thought someone might want to buy out either the store, or just the recipes and brand name. However that does not seem like it will be happening and the clock is ticking rather fast. My last resort was to actually sell the recipes, but not on a per person basis, but rather a community effort. In which case the price would be lower, and each flavor would be a total of $100. By community effort I mean everyone can chip in for whichever flavors they want, and once it hits $100, the complete recipe will be released on the site itself for everyone to write down. The price I was asking for all the recipes and brand name was $1500 (extremely cheap, yes, but I'm more concerned about you all still being able to have the flavors than banking on the price). I'll be sending another newsletter with this idea and I want you all to let me know what you think. If you think you have a better idea by all means I'm all ears. If this method is to be done it'll be available on the site in 3 days or so.

Hey gang, hope all is well..

I see the progress going w/ JC on getting everything ready for the next step in his life. I truly wish you the best my friend. may it bring you more than you hoped and may the surprises be mostly good.

i'll likely be around a bit more now.. (irony!)

just got myself a new phone that makes it fun to post and keep up w/ the online world. had a 'smart' phone that really was aggrevating to use. it was a samsung centura.. basically they made it look sort of galaxy like.. and put too many features into too little processing power... really ...... me off.. everytime i used it.

fast forward to today... im rocking a blu vivo air.
http://www.amazon.com/BLU-Vivo-Unlocked-Cellphone-Black/dp/B00S5C3BFG

this thing is AWESOME!

its one of the thinnest and lightest phones in the world.. which is sort of nice although i didnt think that would be a big deal to me. it has a 1.7 octacore processor.. now it does only have 1 gig of ram.. and only 16 gigs of space. but i am smitten.

just got a case today that is awesome and instead of a plastic screen protector, i put a tempered glass screen protector on it. never heard or seen one of those. its basically a piece of glass over the actual glass screen... says its rated to h9 hardness, doesn't have any air bubbles in it, feels great like the original surface, and is very clear. it does alter the view a bit from the angles (the phone has amoled which makes it clear at all angles normally) but just darkens it a smidge. normal views look dead on.

ran antutu's benchmark on it last night and its got a better processor and runs better than 95% of other devices on the market (and got 60% for games, 50% for battery life).

having not had a good phone in a long time, it is refreshing. i cannot believe how awesome this little thing is. i say little.. but its not. its just very light and thin. like forget it is in your pocket. its a 4.8 inch hd screen.. a little over 300 dpi..

its funny how things work out. ordered it used from amazon w/ the only problem listed being damaging to packaging but device pristine. and it was. it was just missing most of the accessories that were supposed to come with it (a gel case, plastic screen protector, and pos headphones along w/ the user manual). was irritated. let amazon know.. they credited me back 20% of the cost, which i used to get a better case, protector and ear buds.

speaking of ear buds, pretty excited about them. from the reviews, they are silly good. i'll find out here in a couple hours.

oh, I also got an upgrade on my scooter from 50 cc's to 100 cc's. it flies now. just gotta not go too fast! but its very refreshing to not have to drive WOT (wide open throttle) now. i rarely have to run wide open, and when i do, boy am i moving!)

so the scooter.. its almost like getting a new engine. basically you remove 2/3rds of the engine and replace it with larger parts. the old piston could fit inside the new piston easily. got it done for 150$ installed and it easily doubled my power if not more. much safer now.

just ordered a performance cdi and new plug and wires.. should be able to eek a bit more out of it after that.. and then i should be good.. except im getting an aftermarket air filter.. just put a new tire on it last night.. the thing is in the best shape ive ever had it in.

it is nice to not have to run WOT anymore for sure..

as for why i did it.. the engine was having problems.. and to fix it, it would have ran right at 100$ and that would have left me at the same level of performance. so for 50 bucks more, i replaced a lot of hte engine, got a huge power increase, new head, new pistons, new valves, new rockers, upgraded jet in carb, new intake manifold, etc.. basically it should save me a lot of $ down the road... ironically as long as i don't dog the engine, it will last longer as it isn't having to run wide open all the time.

Good afternoon minions, just dropping by real quick to let you know I'm almost done with all the bulk orders. I've also added all the options for getting the flavor recipes on the site and sent two newsletter e-mails to all who are subscribed to it. Gotta get back to work on those orders. Hopefully done by tomorrow!

I'm all about long term planning. Definitely sounds like you got your money's worth and then some. You can't really put a hard dollar amount on personal satisfaction anyway. The real question is: Will it be ready for the Sturgis 2016 rally? I would love to see your pictures from that.:2cool:

Good evening/morning everyone. Just dropping by real quick as I go to sleep since I've got yet another busy day tomorrow. Need to get every single order out the door. I've been trying to finish up the smaller ones and dedicate 2 full days (which will be tomorrow and the day after) to the remaining big bulk orders. If you are not subscribed to our newsletter, I've been keeping everyone updated that way. To sum it up today is the last day to buy e-juice, and the store will now close on October 1st. For those 2 days you'll be able to buy recipes. Also, since there was almost no demand for the recipe unlocks and 90% of the recipe sales were under the NDA, they'll be removed today and only the NDA option will remain. I had to do this because if I don't I won't have enough time to wrap everything up given there's a handful of things I need to process just to shut down the store as well as trying to provide support for all the shipped orders. If I get every order out by Wednesday I should be able to make sure they all arrive. I'll get to pending PMs soon. Need to get some rest and get on to those bulk orders. Good night minions!

Vaping the last of my Ground Breaking tonight. Seems fitting. Ordered this one in the December sale. Something about it was ...different. Still good, but not as good.

Sorry the big recipe sale didn't work out. But really, that idea was probably DOA. I get the idea, but crowdsourcing a mass release was never realistic.

If the recipe ever surfaces, I'll make it. I've got something close with DRY4, but not quite spot on. Can't quite get that cocoa note or that pleasant musty undertone. I'm guessing another tobacco behind the DRY4, but can't quite peg it.

Best of luck JC. Thanks again for a couple years of good juice.

Thank you so much for the kind words.

Indeed, the idea was pretty much a wild attempt to see if there was enough interest to unlock them on the site for everyone. However soon after releasing it I got several e-mails asking for a lower price under some other condition like a non-disclosure agreement. As soon as I added that, recipes started selling quite a bit (some even asked to take their contribution on the communal unlocks into an NDA recipe). I left the store open until the 2nd for that reason alone. Since it's 60% off the original asking price with the only difference being not being able to disclose it, I guess it does make sense those are selling much better.

Today is the last day of Bionic Vapor. However it isn't a sad day. While the store is closing, you are all Bionic Vapor itself. You are the community, the minions, the ones that enabled me to take Bionic to where I took it. That will continue to live on, and I will still be a member on this board and will still frequent it as much as I can once I get settled in NZ. The future isn't clear, nothing is set in stone. Whether I'll stay longer in NZ, or come back and try to re-open Bionic Vapor with brand new e-juices, I don't know. But I'll always be here, and I'll be posting an e-mail which is my private one from the company where you will be able to reach me anytime. Today, at about 10 PM EST, I'll be posting a closing message and the thread will, after 15 months with 566 pages and over 11300 posts, come to an end. Let us all say, not "Goodbye Bionic Vapor", but rather..

See you around, Bionic Vapor.
