Hello all...sorry I've been MIA just now enough hours in the day. My daughter was pretty sick over the weekend so grandpa and I spent a lot of time there helping with our little Penelope. Mom is doing better now, bless her heart was just worn out and couldn't keep anything down. Unfortunately I gave her the weak stomach.. but had a lot of snuggle time
Evening all. This week has been downright terrible.... Every day long, we're behind from on meeting on Monday, now we have another tomorrow (and DOT tests) further pushing us back....
Oh Morandir...hopefully you get some time off next week. Things are great here just super busy..chasing my tail at work but it's just that time of year. Have a Great Day....

OMG I'm exhausted.was up until 2am doing paper work and payroll...it's been non stop today at work..just really want to get home, have a beer and chain vape
A very productive day. Finished my tests for one job, went to meet up with a fellow forum member to work on a few things, got home and started on a blog, and that's when the storms hit.... Playing catch up while I can before bed, still looks like it's going to storm outside, keeping an eye out for lightning....
Iowa.........Congrats on Penelope!!!!!!! How fun for you and something to look forward to - a little one to snuggle with! Hope your girl is feeling better now. And I know what you mean; I relish stopping everything, chain-vaping and just veg-ing out.
Mr. Morandir, it has been a weird year here, too. I've not seen weather like this in the nearly 13 years I have lived here. The flooding, winds, hail....I am grateful we've not had any major damage but I really don't want to hear any storm sirens any more. I did see a gorgeous display of 360 degree lightning around dusk a couple weeks ago, though, like I'd never seen before. There just isn't anywhere for water to go any more. Everything is still saturated so it's been like a steam bath - unusual for here. It can stop now!

Good morning...Lisa my daughter is back on her feet, I seriously just think she was dehydrated and exhausted. We are heading down there this afternoon to babysit while mom gets out of the house for an hour then making the dinner. Snuggle time for sure Grandpa and I are both so tired, but we an nap with Penelope...The weather has been strange here as well, much like you too much rain and living in a sauna. Unfortunately the mosquitos are terrible so can't even enjoy the deck at night. Hope everyone has a great weekend....Monday will be here again before we know it.

Iowa we burn the Off Candles at night when we are in the pool. They help a lot.

JJ I need to remember to take candles out. It seems any of my candles help (don't have to be for bugs) and I don't burn candles in the house anymore so have several to get used up. I've gone to the Scentsy waxes for the pleasant aroma....fell asleep once with a candle going and don't want to chance that. I'm just now finding a few minutes to relax...then need to do a little housework and laundry. Neither one would take long just a couple of loads and a quick pickup around the house (but don't know if I have the energy to get up an moving) Can't believe the weekend is already gone...but it's been fun.
We use to get eaten alive at night when in the pool so we just keep those candles and a lighter in a tub.
They really do help.
