Afternoon all... Not even going to touch on the horrible day Friday was (the traffic part at least). Loki is doing very well, he's 4-5 weeks away from being completely healed. Playing catch up now...

Oh, I ached for kitty-cat love!
This is my first-ever experience with "getting-to-know-you" with an adult cat, as opposed to being able to form a wee kitten myself. It's going to take some time, i.e., for Max to get fully comfortable with me handling his belly when he's lying down, and he has yet to grasp (although he tolerates) the importance of multiple smooches!

Hey all. Thought I would stop by and say hi on my 2 1/2 year vaping anniversary (today) since I forgot all about the 2 year one. I stop by and read your posts once in a while so I remember you more than you remember me.
Glad you all are doing well. I am 90% recovered from my head-on collision which was also 2 1/2 years ago and will basically sign the settlement money over to Marquette University as our son will start there next month. We will be sad to see him leave and I suspect our cat will go into full-blown depression.
Anyways, continued success to you all and God bless everyone at V4L for getting me off those nasty ol' cancer sticks.

Congrats to you, Tracker. I do remember you because I started here about the same time you did. It's good to hear you are still vaping and that you are doing better. What a way to raise tuition!!!!
Eleanor - gorgeous kitty.......at some point maybe we'll see the real Maxwell. I'll bet there will be leaps and bounds in the way you two bond, even though he's a little older. My two were adults when I got them and they certainly know who their mommy is! One of them would barely let me touch him at all and now he won't leave me alone - from one extreme to the other!
jj - love that elephant with prosthesis. Here's another - of a dolphin who got her tail caught up in a crab trap line:

I'm kinda new to ECF and saw this thread, so I thought I'd jump in and say hello! My day has been going crappy due to the heat and that I'm off to a Dr.'s appointment, but then it'll be back to the AC! vape On!
