Morning all. Yesterday was a horrible day. They're shutting down a water main for repairs in pg county that will knock out water for 3-5 days for the area it supplies. So today (and possibly next week if it ends up taking longer) have to deliver water to the stores in the affected area. Ended up being there for 13 hours again to receive the truck and finish working up our truck. When I got home and collapsed on the couch. Didn't even eat last night...

Welcome Knitcrotatter (sir or Ms.?). :)

Lady Eleanor glad you and Maxwell are bonding.

Ms. Dedi he ended up tearing his other acl (ccl) almost 7 weeks ago, had surgery a week later. Most expensive dog I've ever owned.... :)

Evening all. Have been somewhat enjoying the day off Ms. Jj2, spent some time catching up on some vaping projects, then spent the afternoon with my wife.

Ms. Dedi he's just recently turned 4 in April. He tore his first acl 2 years ago to the day he tore the second. It's genetics, really no way to prevent it.

How odd, I was so sure I posted the other day. somehing about the roller-coaster ride of life, whale watching? No??
Well a real, live southern right whale & calf came up the river & played around inour bay for a couple of hours. I was sitting on the deck vaping. my first live whale sighting

i've been unwell all week, that's a downside of the rollercoaster. scored 40% on wheel, not that I needed much, but I wanted another dual mode Zeus & as long as I save interenational shipping amount I'm happy.
today is belting down with rain, pouring since 6am or earlier. not going otside to vape today.

Thx Mr M. My bully mix tore her's about three wks ago......she is adopted so not sure of exact age but around 11. Vet wasn't really keen on surgery to repair so trying to manage with conservative treatment. She is doing much better so we shall see..........yep, I know everything b/c I read it on the internet ;)

Other than being unwell Ms. Katz sounds like everything else has been great. Must have been an awesome sight seeing both whales from your porch. :)

Ms. Dedi after age 7-8 most vets worry about putting a dog under anesthesia, so not surprised. They fit her for a knee brace? With Loki's age and activity we had no choice but tplo surgery. He has a 35 degree slope on both knees, the slightest tear was going to result in a complete one over time. Small price to pay though, Loki has been worth every cent spent on him.

Morning everyone...Katz I also hope you are feeling better soon. Seeing the whales would be awesome. Had a wonderful family day yesterday and am so tired today. Just need to putz and work around the house today. Nothing too difficult just laundry, picking up etc. We got a small rain shower this morning...hopefully more will move through later today.
