Afternoon all. Had a very good thanksgiving night, we avoided all the drama by arriving late at my family's house. Shared a 90 min with Sovie (and Jamie, he apparently enjoys beer as well).

Morning everyone. Last day of vaca for the year.... At least it's been a great one with large amounts of beer consumed.
Morandir glad you have enjoyed your vacation. I've had a great weekend so far just busy...busy...busy. Tomorrow looks to be the same way but getting a lot of things done I wanted to.
Evening all. Was a ridiculously long day at work.... And to top it off our main sump pump at home died... The back up is being over-worked big time... We had a small flood from it overheating... They'll be out Wednesday to fix the main. Already miss vacation.
Evening/very early morning all. Was a terrible, long, craptacular day...... Hopefully the new sump pump means I don't have clean a Puddle of water tomorrow...

Hello everyone...I can't believe how crazy busy things have been around here. Took on some sewing projects for the grandkids Christmas gifts...just a tiny bit of hand work left and I'm so excited to give them. I'm just learning to sew and these give me a nice feeling of accomplishment. Next week I will be staying with the two oldest grandkids for the week as their parents will both be out of town. I'm going to be busy...they have a pretty full schedule.

Glad you made it home safe Ms. Jj2. We're technically off on xmas (80% of our stores we deliver to are closed), but might have to go in to pick up totes that day (triple pay so the 6 hours will really be 18). Same will most likely go for new years.

I will share a photo when complete....It's so darn cold here but at least we don't have a ton of snow/ice like they do all around us. Felt terrible yesterday with runny nose..last night slept with humidifier we just purchased and also rubbed Vicks Vapor Rub on my feet and wore socks to bed...seriously couldn't believe how much less congested and better I feel today. Will do the same routine tonight for sure.

Still haven't been able to get out to work. It's been nothing but freezing rain and sleet since noon, can drive my suv in it, but the work truck is a big no.... Hoping they can have the roads cleared by 3am and go in then.
Hope everyone is safe after the weekend weather. It snowed here but thankfully no ice. It is so cold but suppose to start warming up a bit tomorrow..the 20's will feel like 80s
