Mornin' Clan: You will never guess. It rained here last night--surprise, surprise!! And cloudy and chilly today--can you believe it? Illinois weather has suddenly become very predictable. But at least it is better than those poor people in Arkansas. What a mess for them.

Just had to pop in and catch up. Wow, everyone's taking a text exam lately. I feel so old cuz I'm not in school Wishing the best for all of you test takers ! Of course I also wish I had some of that chocolate bunny ....

The sun was out bright and the birds are still singing...I wished I'd have remembered the old saying.."The birds are singing for rain"...It's clouding up now and I have a load of laundry started !! Grrrrrrr !!! I don't have a dryer in the house, just the washer. I always hang the wash on the clothesline. Hmmm, maybe not going to be a great day after all...LOL...

Tale of the day comes from my niece. Mum had gotten her a chocolate Easter bunny that was a good 8 inches tall. Well, mum got a phone call from an inconsolable 5 year old last night... apparently 100# German Shepard had eaten the whole thing... and 'the only thing left >sob< was >sniffle< his >sniffle< pink bow >sob<!!!' <- that's a direct quote from said 5 y.o. Sis-in-law wanted to know where mum had gotten the choco bunny. Even though puppies are not meant to have chocolate, Dog appears un-phased by the whole incident and can't understand what all the fuss is about.

Ta ladies... I'm sure it will be fine, the chocolate shop has many other good shapes to choose from. Actually, I found it quite humorous, may have been the crime scene picture I had in my head of a splotch of chocolate and pink bow surrounded by a chalk line with my Bro interrogating suspects.
