My lab ate a dozen homemade peanut butter cups a couple of years ago and the only problem he had was passing the plastic wrappers. Oh, sorry, I hope no one is eating lunch.

Actually hon...I am....lol....

Mooke....yep...dark chocolate is REALLY bad for the dogs....and regular chocolate affects smaller dogs worse....it gets their heart beating too fast (in a lot of cases). It is a rarity that a dog does actually die from eating chocolate, but it is ill advised to give on a daily basis as a nice sweet treat....they do have a natural substance (can't remember the name right now) that tastes like chocolate that can be used in making dog treats....I have yet to get any as I have to go to the health food store to get it....I had a Golden when I was little that ate my 1lb candy bar too...I was sooo mad at here...it was a birthday gift from a friend....course I was more worried about her....and my lovely babies now...well, if there is chocolate to be found, they will find it....and yep they will eat just the wrappers if all else fails....crazy critters

Thanks all for your well wishes for my kid....he got done early, but still had to wait for me....think I'll hang out and read there tomorrow till he's done.....sheesh...3 days of this...blah....

It has a chocolate-like flavor, the texture is a little different, but it stands alone in its deliciousness. It is especially good if you haven't had chocolate in awhile. The main difference is the texture.

I love carob too. There's a few health food stores near me. I LOVE the ice cream bars with the carob on the outside ! Omg, to die for !! I only wished more people would shop those stores. Maybe the prices would come down a tad ? Their stuff is so yummy !! I can't shop there for everything. I have to be on such a tight budget, but I would love to. ♥
