Tomorrow I go to the surgeon again. They will do hearing tests and check everything out.I hope that I have some hearing in that ear so I can be fitted with a hearing aid soon.If that's possible it will help with the dizziness and feeling self conscious in social situations. If I'm in a semi crowded place I cant hear people talking to me and I can never tell which direction sound is coming from, lol.I'm very tired of saying "WHAT??".I also still have nerve damage which is causing me a lot of pain.Maybe they can help me with that too.So wish me luck.Ill be around today but probably gone most of the day tomorrow.Ill check in when I get back and let you all know how it went.I always get a bit nervous before going to Miami.I hate the ride, its 3hrs each way and I just hate going to see the doctor, lol!! I'm just thrilled and tickled that I'm doing so much better since the surgery though!! Thats the good thing!
Keyzy, my thoughts and prayers will be with you. Has your Doctor discussed with you the possibility of an Esteem implant (from Envoy Medical)? (It's for folks with some residual hearing; it's not a hearing aid, but a new device that actually restores your hearing.)
