Tomorrow I go to the surgeon again.They will do hearing tests and check everything out.I hope that I have some hearing in that ear so I can be fitted with a hearing aid soon.If that's possible it will help with the dizziness and feeling self conscious in social situations.If I'm in a semi crowded place I cant hear people talking to me and I can never tell which direction sound is coming from,lol.I'm very tired of saying "WHAT??".I also still have nerve damage which is causing me a lot of pain.Maybe they can help me with that too.So wish me luck.Ill be around today but probably gone most of the day tomorrow.Ill check in when I get back and let you all know how it went.I always get a bit nervous before going to Miami.I hate the ride,its 3hrs each way and I just hate going to see the doctor,lol!! I'm just thrilled and tickled that I'm doing so much better since the surgery though!! Thats the good thing!

Keyzy, my thoughts and prayers will be with you. Has your Doctor discussed with you the possibility of an Esteem implant (from Envoy Medical)? (It's for folks with some residual hearing; it's not a hearing aid, but a new device that actually restores your hearing.)

one of my grandnieces ,2 years old has a concussion from hitting her head at school...if you pray ,pray to whatever you believe in please please ....i just found out .She is with a 2nd dr today with her mommy ,my nephew is worried i can tell ....so please think of sweet little Aubrie in your thoughts .
I do not know yet how bad it is but it doesnt sound good

Ms. RandaPanda that would be a no. A 1.5ohm carto (whether dual or single coil) would be pulling 3.33 amps at 5v. The pt is limited to the amps provided by the usb port/wall outlet. 2.4a is the highest I've seen provided by any wall adapter thus far (though doubt the pt is designed for anything more than 2.5a or 3a to begin with). A 1.5ohm carto on an ego will only be pulling 2.13a, which is only 6.81 watts. Under 5v conditions you would be pulling 16.65 watts of power. Most juices can't go past 13w without being scorched, so....

The carto wouldn't fire most likely Ms. RandaPanda (least that's what happens in my experience). Higher the voltage, lower the ohms, the more amps it draws. Depending on the c rating of the batt, high enough amperage can kill it (and possibly hurt someone in the process).

Ohm's law makes more sense to me Randapanda (volts divided by ohms equals amps, amps times volts equals watts).

There's no answer to that question though, sweet spot to one isn't the same to another....
