I feel like a loser for not doing anything for halloween! I hate the town I live in and the fact that all my friends live in other states!

its just halloween kid ! I dont usually have focus for halloween because my sons bday is oct 30th so it had been about birthday for 29 years and halloween is not really on my radar cept when he was little ,still an afterthought

You know that freakin' snow storm we had? Well we were fine here but
no heat for new grandson!!!...unthinkable. My younger daughter & hubby took the new family in so they're fine...but Nana would have loved to have that beebee here.
b/4 you ask DD2 has a loft in her townhouse with separate bed, bath & sitting areas & a 42" TV....I'd go there too

In other words tv is more important than Grandma time Ms. Nana, for shame on them...
LOL...Nana & Grampy went there yesterday for lunch ....which we bought at McD's not especially nutricious but Baby wanted it according to him mommy

Have a great week everyone! I'll be gone for the week on a trip to Houston with mi madre! Got lots of juice, cartos, batts & chargers loaded up, yay! Ya'll behave while I'm gone

It's windy here and i swear ,every cat i've ever had goes nuts in the wind....she's running ,making noises as she takes off like a bat from room to room and jumping on everything and off .lol
I have only had one cat that didnt do this on a windy day ( mild mannered male Marty ) anyone else have an insane cat in the wind ?

Nancy, one of my cats was truly feral before being picked up by animal control and the other had been living in the street (never seen such calloused paws) prior to the same, so they actually sit in the window watching lightning and wind storms like it's T.V. They know it won't hurt them. They are scared to death of fireworks, however. When whistlers go off they look anxiously up at the ceiling waiting for the explosion...
I have had enough of this day and am going home. I have no attention span today and it's useless, spinning wheels. Obviously; I'm here typing away again!

Sorry for taking some time off from the posts...but yesterday was my anniversary Most of the kids know so they yell, "happy anniversary" instead of "trick or treat" and I, of course, give them extra candy
It's been a busy time...getting ready to go to Florida this Thursday First we go to Key Largo to do some diving on Friday and immediately drive to Coral Gables so he can teach on Saturday Gotta get some sleep in there sometime or else he'd fall asleep during his lecture...(again!)
Does anyone live in the area? I have some free time Friday and Saturday and we return to Chicago on Sunday <sigh> I'm missing Miami's 80 degree weather already
Going out for a McDonalds now...he's teaching downtown and I get to fend for myself...read "eat out"
