Kezy...I'm so happy for you. Now you need to relax, enjoy Thanksgiving and rest before your surgery
Actually born & spent 1st 4 years in England. Apart from a year back in 'the old country' when 16, lived in Oz all the time. Consider myself "dinky-di" though perhaps not quite "true blue". Ew, doesn't it make you cringe ?!!! We don't all talk like that, honestly. The "Good on ya cobber", " good onya mate" "Beaut" etc. I want to hide under something when I hear those "okker" expressions.@katz...always meant to ask ..were you born there in aust or relocated ?
So, Katz, no Thanksgiving but "Black Friday" sales? Ah, Australia, the "land down under"No need to spend hours and hours in the kitchen, just risk life and limb in the sales stampedes

miss kitty ..i know what you mean about moms cooking ....i took to mixing 1/2 cornbread and 1/2 regular ...its not bad either .Will you have thanksgiving with your sisters ? Do you fight over how to make somethingYay, keyzy! ((hug))
Feel better, Randa, go easy on the vaping, hope you heal quickly.
This afternoon: Pumpkin pie (cheating and using Mrs. Smith's "recipe"), thaw Edwards Turtle Pie, bake "crownies", only this time I'm using refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough on top of the brownie batter (instead of choc chip).
My mom's been gone 8 years now and I miss her the most at Thanksgiving. She made the best cornbread dressing and giblet gravy in the whole wide world and I've never been able to replicate it. I guess it's missing that cup 'o' mamalove
I'll miss you guys! I hope the Black Friday V4L sale runs for the weekend, paycheck doesn't hit until midnight Friday, and of course I MUST have a MANUAL Diamond batt. Grrrr. I'll go to my sis' on Saturday to use her computer and order.
