I'm so excited! Our ecigs came today. I wasn't gonna start stalking the mailman starting tomorrow but it came today!

So I assembled everything and attached my first carto, tobacco sampler pack, kamel flavor, took a drag and inhaled and almost choked to death! WOW...that was strong! ewwww...so I took another drag but not as much....did some coughing and still was like...ewwwww....took a third drag but even a lighter drag and perfect! No coughing, gagging, choking and tastes much better. But I gave myself a slight nicotine buzz!

I see this is gonna take some adjustments to find my nitch. Hubby just got home and he is currently trying his. I got on the phone to see if my mom ecig arrived today too and her's did too and so I walked her through it so she would choke like I did! Trying the cool cart english toffee...it's okay....it'll do until my juices come in and I play with those!

So it's offical as of tonight we are vaping! Post in the next couple of days to let everyone know how it's going for us three newbies! Hopefully not too much of a nicotine buzz!

Yeah the first drags are rough, and some flavors are too intense for me. But I love my V4L.

If there are any flavors you don't like, you can spin them mostly out - search Youtube for video Reverse Taryn Spin. The same video shows pushing ejuice in using a carto condom. I only did that once when I had to spin the juice out of a carto dud and push it into a blank. Mostly I fill into the stuffing by popping out the soft cap.

Hints -

Don't run the cartos dry unless you intend to not refill - you could singe the stuffing. When my vapor is a bit light or dry in a way that tilting the end carto down for 5 seconds doesn't fix, I take it off the battery and add some juice - maybe 5-8 drops, more if it seems to want it.

If you get a hot carto, try using a plastic or delrin drip tip in place of the soft white cap. Makes a nice mouthpiece! You can also use the normal Premium KR808D-1 blank cartomizers here and they are soft-caps. Not the LR ones - their ohms are too low.

An unbent small paper clip is good for popping out the soft-cap - stick it in just far enough to pop the cap out. The same unbent paperclip, if very straight, can be used to straighten the center air channel of a carto if needed. This video is useful to see how to straighten - can help you get longer life out of a carto and is sometimes helpful if the drag is tight.

I usually hold a bit of tissue on the threaded end hole and when done I clean up any drips and puff into the threaded end to make sure the air channel is clear of juice and I can see light through the channel. On the first fill of a blank carto, fill well and let sit a while to make sure all areas of the stuffing inside are damp.
